We loved the novelty of staying in the yacht and the room was a very generous size. Great shower and good bed. The balcony seating was lovely, we overlooked the restaurant and bar area which was quite noisy in the evenings. The pool area was small and people tended to put a towel down, then left and didn’t remove their towels. Consequently we couldn’t get a sunbed despite there hardly being anyone there when we arrived. They should have a policy of removing towels if people go for lunch etc. but we had a lovely stay and would recommend it.

A fantastic and unique hotel, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Sunborn, the room and bed was comfortable and had everything you could need.

Much of the hotel was great. The staff was wonderful. I cannot give five stars because the Internet is atrocious. It continuously drops and is unavailable for a few minutes at a time. Trying to respond to emails that should have taken 10 minutes took over an hour because of the connection continuously dropped. The hotel is also advertised as a casino. There is no casino in this hotel. There is one a short walk away that is quite small with slot machines and a few tables like blackjack and roulette. Like many places I’ve discovered in Spain the pool closes quite early. 7 PM. They also close the entire upper deck where all of the outside lounging is at at 7 PM and it is not accessible for guests to use. This was quite frustrating. The location is excellent. Many bars and restaurants within a two minute walk. Excellent food, choices and drinks. It is also about a 15 minute walk to the tram to get on top of the rock. The tram ticket will get you into all of the attractions within the entire Gibraltar rock park. It’s a full day but well worth it.

Stayed here a few times and loved ever visit. If you're going here for the first time, don't bother getting a taxi (unless you have mobility issues), it's a 10 minute walk from the terminal building. When you arrive you receive the warmest of welcomes. All the staff were very attentive, the rooms are a great size, we were upgraded FOC (thank you Sunborn) to one of the Rock Suits and in my opinion, they do the best breakfast in Gib.

This hotel is nice enough and well situated but appears to have barely changed since.our first visit 7 years ago. There are great swathes of space where things used to be but have now gone. The bar is nice enough but a bit flat and I don't bother with breakfast

Another great stay at the Sunborn great location and facilities will always go back just a short walk from the airport across the runway ! what else do you need near Main Street

Unique experience but the property needs some updating.

great venue, in a great location. We have used this hotel many, many times.

In areas the property was beginning to look a bit tired, sound travels between rooms so if you have noisy neighbours that can be annoying. Overall though I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The staff in the breakfast hall were amazing especially “Saskia”who went above and beyond and gave us information about crossing border into Spain as we wanted to go to Esterpona , very friendly and professional ,

Absolutely fabulous stay. Beautiful room, great check in, lovely breakfast, fantastic location. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was fantastic and the facilities are highly recommended
