Stayed here for 3 nights, when we arrived it was quite late but the staff were still on standby & greeted us friendly!
Plus:
- super friendly staff
- the location is relatively close to the monorail station medan tuanku, just walk 200-300 meters straight. If you want to go to KLCC, Petronas, Nasi Kandar Pelita, you only need to take the monorail 1 stop (get off at bukit nanas station), if you want to go to Pavilion, Jalan Alor, Bukit Bintang Area, you only need to pass 2 stops and pay 1.30 rm
- aesthetic, cozy, there is an elevator, overall clean & amenities are okay (there is a water dispenser in the lobby, soap shampoo, hair dryer is good, toothbrush and kettle can be requested if needed)
Minus:
- the AC is noisy, I don't know if it's all the rooms or just my room, but it's really noisy (the sound of the machine vibrating), and the AC has been set to auto timer off after being on for 10 hours. So I turned on the AC at 8 pm, then at 6 am the AC turned off by itself ... so I automatically woke up because of the heat
- The windows are not soundproof so the sound of cars and motorbikes from outside was noisy and came inside. Luckily I brought earplugs so I could sleep (you can also ask the receptionist)
- The lobby area which is also a common space (cafe, restaurant, breakfast area) during my arrival for 4 days 3 nights, during those 2 days there were 2 events held in the area. The first event was a birthday party, around noon-evening. The second was a kind of cosplay event. So when there was an event, the condition was crowded .. mobility to go in and out was a bit awkward having to ask permission from people who were eating, but fortunately the music/noise didn't reach upstairs
- It's located right on the main road but there's no spot for cars to stop/park, so if you order a grab, we have to be on standby, because if the lights are green, the grab car we ordered can't just stop waiting for us. Those who stay with their parents (using wheelchairs) or can't move fast, maybe this could be a consideration
Overall 4/5, next time I might stay again in an upgraded room (city view/bunk bed), who knows the experience will be better.
