7 minutes from Golden Nugget. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Great location behind a 7-Eleven. Free Parking. No breakfast

The property itself, the staff, and the conditions experienced inside were better than many in Lake Charles. When you are inside the property, the experience is quite good. The staff should be commended on their work. The neighborhood around the property is presently in decline, as is much of that side of Lake Charles, with most development moving to the opposite side of town. Lake Charles is an inherently racist community with its consumerism in overdrive. Those with means simply flit from one shiny object to the next. It probably would not be profitable to move the hotel to the other side of town, given your target audience is more budget minded.

Sll around not too bad. There is an annoying queue that forms to go to the rooms upstairs.

Check in went meh. I was charged an extra pet fee per dog, this was not disclosed in my search for pet friendly accommodations. I would have looked elsewhere for sure. The room had a weird smell not sure what it was exactly. The tub had what looked like hard water stains. We slept and left that’s it. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Homeless people are around the property sitting in smoking and grilling areas

Sometimes you just want a bed to sleep in, this is not the place, super noisy, walls are paper thin. You can hear Avery little noise throughout the night. The shower head did not work, the water turned on but couldn’t get the shower head to work. The was an open hole in the bathroom missing vent area that has a piece of plastic duck taped to it. No shampoo or conditioner, couldn’t find any front desk staff at night or in the morning to request some. Finally, the entire property is fenced in with concertina wire on top. The people hanging around the area made it feel unsafe and wasn’t sure if my car was still going to be there in the morning. I guess you get what you pay for in a place, although I didn’t think it was that cheap, for a place like this I wouldn’t pay more than $50 a night.

The rooms i reserved were not the rooms i recieved upon check in. I was charged half of the total price hours before i checked in and was charged four separate times for the total amount.

Had a lot of homeless up front sitting on bench and hanging out in front. The room we received was facing the neighborhood that was busy with music and loud engines from cars.
