The staff were very friendly and helpful. We Loved our stay at the Mathis House Victorian Bed & Breakfast and Tea Room luncheon. Beautifully decorated. Loved all the food selections. both Tea & breakfast. Rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Had a cute shop also. We loved the selections of teas & bought some for home. Highly recommend staying here.

Charm, comfort, hospitality and amazing food. My stay exceeded expectations. Super friendly staff who were all very attentive. The Lady Samantha room was lovely and it made me feel like i was stepping back into a grander time. (The bed was soft and comfy). What a gem. It's been decades since I've opted for a Bed & Breakfast and Marhis House raised the bar for the next time. Thanks foŕ a wonderful experience.

We had a lovely stay at the Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in the Queen Alexa room and it was very large and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable and the linens were beautiful. The bathroom has a gigantic tub and a wonderful multi head shower. The Inn itself is beautiful and has many original historic details.

Beautiful trees surround this vintage vibe stately home, kitchy hats for sale lovely teas in every corner and an unbelievably stellar breakfast home cooked by the owner herself. Thanks you!!

It was so quaint and homey. The smells of cinnamon, and breakfast aromas. Breakfast is not until 9 am so your morning is leisurely.

The Mathes House was lovely. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was wonderful and did everything to make the stay perfect.

I can't say enough about our stay. The Mathis house is beautiful. The staff is welcoming, friendly and accomodating. Rooms were well appointed,clean and comfortable. It is a 5 star experience. Breakfast was amazing!

This B&B was very nice with a comfortable setting as there are only 4 rooms available to rent. When we arrived at the B&B, there was a baby shower in the late afternoon and another shower on the following day. Check in was very informal with one of the assistants providing the needed information along with the room key (yes, an actual key). The breakfasts that were served were very good. One comment that we had was that we felt the owner of the B&B should have been a little more interactive in meeting the guests (i.e., asking the guests the five w's and one h). Also, the bedroom window had a moon shaped top to it that needed covering as there was an outside light that beamed into the window. A suggestion was conveyed to the owner.

The innkeeper is lovely and so dedicated to quality and guest comfort!

We have always loved our stays at this historic location, an easy drive to the beach. The breakfast is always amazing!

I was glad my wife came with me because I couldn't adequately explain it & she was thilled. Vicky was wonderful & made a great dinner ecommendation!
