All the staff were very professional. My room had a great view out to sea. The hotel is clean and well organised, but lacks a bit of character. The rooms are quite plain. Good for a business traveller.

The city of Beira, Mozambique was heavily damaged by cyclone Idai in 2021, and it will take many years for it to recover. The Beira Terrace Hotel has done a wonderful job of building a great hotel stay from what is available to the city still suffering the ravages of this terrible disaster. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was hearty and healthy, the location was great for accessing the city, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Really, I couldn't have asked for a better stay in Beira.

The staff is very helpful. The rooms are clean. The bathroom needs maintenance. The gym needs a working air conditioner. The pool water was dirty.

I have stayed at The Terrace Hotel Half a dozen times in the last year. My most recent stay was a disappointment. 1- the room allocated to me was on the first floor 107 and it was so noisy from the street parties that I hardly got any sleep 2- the Mattress on the bed has done its time - you can feel the springs stabbing you 3- the shower door in the bath doesn’t close and it’s filthy with mould at the bottom 4- there is water infiltration at the right corner of the room by the window. You can hear water dropping on to the wall paper There needs to be some upkeep on maintenance of the hotel as a whole- Beira has numerous choices at the same price range and the Terrace hotel will need to up its game if it is to stay competitive

Central location, with views of the water and the ships passing from the port. The rooms were large, but needing some updating (shower head broken, wall paper peeling in the corner). The hotel overall is very nice in Beira, even with a small good gym. During our stay, the pool was a bit dirty to swim.

We stayed only one night but the room was very large and the bathroom very up-to-date and clean. Breakfast was moderate. (One thing to note. They often give glasses, plates that are not totally dried, which for foreigners is not a great thing because this is a place where most foreigners drink, do their teeth etc with only bottled water. (They do not have a bar but you can buy drinks outside and bring to your room.)

I had a very good & relaxing time at hotel. Stayed 3 nights . Staff excellent. Good WiFi & enjoyed food. This is my 4th time staying here. Will use again on next trip . Not much to do outside as you at the port. If you require shopping it is a 10min walk into town. I felt safe walking around in the afternoon & early evening.

The hotel is right near the port and on the ocean - the views of the ships and sunsets are wonderful. The staff were helpful with any requests.

Beira Terrace Hotel is a nice business-style hotel near the center of Beira. The rooms are big and clean, there is a swimming pool and the breakfast is adequate. The only problem I had was that the person who was supposed to be manning the reception desk overnight was sleeping on a couch where I couldn’t see him and I would have missed the taxi for my early morning bus if one of the other employees hadn’t found him and rousted him from his deep slumber.

From the time I walked into hotel lobby the staff could not do enough for me. The hotel is modern in design & finishing. Close to water but unfortunately no beach to swim. Port side. Good WIFI & food great. Thanks Moutie from South Africa
