Very clean, quaint hostel. Very reasonably priced. Breakfast was very good - coffee excellent! Night time views from balcony were spectacular!

Hôtel très bien situé, le stationnement est juste à côté en fait la rue est un sens unique, il est juste avant, non répertorié sur les cartes. La chambre était très propre, l’eau chaude première nuit a bien fonctionné, le lendemain moins bien. Le petit déjeuner se compose d’un jus de fruit, café tout les 2 excellent, le repas est sandwich au fromage jambon avec scamble eggs.

Clean and conveniently located family hotel for a few days in Quito. Four of use fit in one room, and its private patio was nice. The water was hot and the included breakfast was reliable. There was street noise, but it was worth it to be just a few blocks from the main plaza.

Very good Hostel in the Historical Area of Quito

Let me preface by saying that the staff of the hotel was just excellent. They were well aware of the unfortunate situation in the country and I really felt safe and cared about in their hands. The only reason for low score is the private bathroom in my room reeked. And for some reason they have those "closet blind" doors, which basically stank up my whole room and the situation didn't improve throughout my stay. Also, the next door guest was a complete moron... blasting radio from 5 AM every morning but that's NOT on the hotel.

No hot water. Bad neighborhood at night, and unable to walk around after 6pm. Breakfast was okay. Staff okay but no English speaking employees.

This hostal was full of friendly staff that helped us coordinate our rides in and out of Quito. Breakfast was great and our rooms were clean. I would stay again. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace and taking in the views of Quito.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great location for checking out the histiric district of Quito and calle La Rhonda. Its high score is well deserved.

It’ was pleasant stay

Our group had a wonderful stay at Rincon Familiar Hostel Boutique. The property is conveniently located near the historic district in Quito, which made getting around on foot very easy. We really enjoyed walking to the historic district square and having lunch every day. The weather was always so pleasant! The staff was also wonderful and always willing to help out with things like watching/locking up our luggage on our last day, giving us recommendations for things to do in the area, and providing us with fresh towels after we had been in the hostel for a few days. They also helped us locate a COVID testing site the day we were supposed to fly home. Our room was a bit musty and the shower didn't always reliably have hot water but overall I would say the pros greatly outweigh the cons. We would happily stay in this location again!
