At first, I was a little skeptical about not having direct beach access in front of the property, but I was completely wrong. Cocolobo is truly a hidden gem, surrounded by lush tropical trees and overlooking a beautiful bay. The beach is just a 10-minute walk to West End, where you'll find a gorgeous beach, great restaurants, and plenty of nightlife. When you're ready to unwind and recharge, Cocolobo is the perfect peaceful retreat. The staff made our stay unforgettable. A special thank you to Gail, Misa, and Dario for your extraordinary hospitality and for making every guest feel right at home. I highly recommend Cocolobo to anyone looking for the perfect balance of relaxation, natural beauty, and easy access to all the fun Roatán has to offer. We can't wait to come back! 🌴☀️💙

Everything was just PERFECT. Very quiet place, but close enough to the beach, restaurants and other things. We loved the view from the room, which was so clean and very well equipped. The breakfast was delicious and changed every day. Highly recommend!!

Cocolobo is a peaceful, serene paradise! The accommodations were very clean and comfortable and well-appointed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Gail and her staff were helpful, friendly and truly made our stay personal and enjoyable - a special shout out to Misa who went above and beyond! We would definitely book Cocolobo again for a return trip to Roatan!

The staff was great and the location is excellent! You are in walking distance to Half Moon Bay which is some beautiful snorkeling! We will be back

Cocolobo was AWESOME. This place was an excellent way to start my first trip in Roatán. Gail is on it and the rest of the staff is super friendly. My cottage was lovely and I’m eager to return. On the property I saw agouti, hummingbirds, deer and bats. Yet, town is a few minutes walk. I found great value, awesome staff, and chemistry with other guests at Cocolobo.

I stayed on the ground level in the unit, closest to the next-door neighbors. This was not a peaceful stay by any means lots of noise from neighbors above me and on both sides there is no window protection just screens. Also, the screens do not keep out the bugs. They are a little, no see ums they will come in even when the shutters are shut. Definitely a beautiful view of the ocean. Terrible stench in the room during my entire day, which was not addressed until the day before I left despite my mentioning it to 3 staff members. My bathroom and kitchen smelled like diapers and it only got worse as time went on . Eventually, they changed some thing with the water that resulted in the water being completely shut off for the last 24 hours of my stay. I never once received an apology. And I remained very kind and grateful about all of the aforementioned issues.Housekeeping was very spotty. I had to request sheets to be changed during my 9 night to stay and housekeeping only cleaned the bathroom, even though I requested housekeeping daily. Still only came about every other day and mainly just to bring towels . So if this is something important for you, I don’t recommend this hotel.. for others that might not matter.

L'hôtel boutique Cocolobo est un havre de paix très bien situé, près de la zone d'activité du village de West End mais en même temps bien caché dans la verdure tranquille. La vue y est magnifique. Le personnel pour nous servir, très très gentil. Et la chambre est très confortable, petite cuisinette très pratique. J,y ai passé une semaine formidable et j'y reviendrai c'est certain.

If you’re looking for an absolute slice of bliss this will be a perfect fit for you! I can’t say enough about Cocolobo and since returning a week ago have already recommended it to two friends! This is a hidden gem and I’m reluctant to tell too many people because it will make it harder to get in again☺️ Gail the property manager is so genuine, down to earth and full of great suggestions helping make your vaca amazing! The property is very clean, maintained and Gail and her small staff are all very friendly! Breakfast was freshly made each morning for us, every bite was delicious. Waking up to the ocean, watching the property wildlife and being surrounded in nature was nothing but perfect! We were two couples there for a weeks stay and had the best time. Walking to the beach and many restaurants/bars is a short 5 min stroll and the neighborhood you pass through is quiet, clean and safe. Hope you enjoy Roatan as much as the four of us did! Thanks again Gail for all of your hospitality!!!!!!

Cocolobo was the best decision I made for our trip! The staff was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was nice and fresh and the pool was great to cool off in. Our view from our balcony was picture perfect! If I ever go back to Roatan I will stay here.

Wonderful place. A full house with two bedrooms 2.5 baths, kitchen, laundry. Better than the pictures. Cute little pool looking out over the ocean. Easily walkable to many restaurants. Great friendly staff who help with setting up any tours you want. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

Great ocean view, enjoyed the cruise ship entering and exiting the island. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Close to the sea, very soothing sound for restful sleep. The staff and manager Gail were very kind and helpful, made everyone feel like family.

Lodge E was great for our family of three. Great kitchen for meals in, short walk to Moana Divers (highly recommended), short walk to Half Moon Bay and West End Bay. Great restaurants all around and local choices as well. Gail and the entire staff made it a place that felt like home. We will definitely stay again.
