I had my first solo trip here to this hotel and I absolutely loved it. From the time I arrived until the time I departed, I felt like I was in great hands. Special thank you to Mr. Shaun at the front desk who made sure I was okay each day knowing that I was traveling alone. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I had a studio suite that was really nice with kitchenette, washer/dryer in my room and a beautiful balcony with a gorgeous view 😍. I will be staying here again when I return.

A lot of changes at the Castle since my last stay. The grounds looked amazing! The workers were very friendly on our daily walk. Everything appears to have a fresh coat of paint. Also there are now elevators to get you around the multilevel compound should you need them. Once again we stayed in Pirates Pension and enjoyed the balcony overlooking the cruise ships. But with that view came a lot of noise pollution. Of course the Castle has no control over this as there are 2 very busy roads just below it. I won’t stay in PP again but I would stay at the Castle again. I’ve been coming back for over 30 years. The pool no longer has the waterfall or deep end but that didn’t make it any less enjoyable. The poolside little restaurant is gone but now you can get breakfast lunch and dinner from where Banana Tree used to be. They have a nice bar in there facing the harbor. I would say our stay was awesome and I’ve never seen the Castle or the grounds look better.

Omg the entire ataff was AMAZING!! with the exception of the night bartender she was not friendly at all but the rest of the staff will have a frequent visitor! I will most definitely be retuning. The place was clean the view in every angle was amazing it was just awesome!

Views were great. If you are older ,or have a lot of bags ,make sure you are in rooms at the top of the hill

Blue beards is a really great place to stay. It was very comfortable and had a great view! The only compliant Inhave is that I wish I had booked it through the hotel and not hotels.com! When we checked in the hotel wasn’t aware of our reservation and we had to wait an hour for them to have our room ready.

Centrally located on the island. Nice large balcony with table and chairs and beautiful view of the harbor and cruise ships. Great open kitchen with up to date appliances. There was a washer/dryer unit in the bathroom which we didn’t use. Convenient parking near our unit. However, our unit was 3 flights down from the parking lot (no elevators). One night we ate at the hotel restaurant. Food was mediocre. Lovely view of the harbor. Toward the end of dinner, it started to rain very hard and the ceiling started leaking heavily forcing diners to try to avoid getting soaked. Restaurant workers were slow to assist customers.

HAMIEKA IS AMAZING ! My family and I got stuck here an additional two nights and she was so helpful from start to end . Her customer service was above and beyond from when we got to the hotel and even after . The gentleman with the golf cart is also so amazing . He was the best helping us get around the entire time . I will defer come back here. This is the kind of service one seeks when they leave the comfort of their own homes. They made everything feel great and not stressful ! Thank You!

We had an excellent stay. The pool area is beautiful and open until midnight. The restaurant we great. Food was good and they had entertainment almost every night of our visit. They were very helpful in getting us a taxi whenever we needed one as well. Greeting the staff with a "good morning" is island courtesy and they were all very pleasant with us. The only complaint I have is that it isn't really walking friendly. There are lots of steps from the rooms at the bottom of the property to the lobby, and with the property being so high up on the hill you can't really walk into the main street shopping area near the property...well you can't really walk back up anyways. Overall we had an excellent stay with a beautiful view of the bay. Our room was comfortable and clean.

The property is in rough shape. It was probably great in 1990! The bellman was rude. Everyone but the bartenders seem bothered to give service. The whole place seems like it’s ripping at the seams. Our room was comfortable enough but there were stray hairs all over the place. Gross! The food and drinks were okay, but it’s weird that they serve everything in styrofoam and plastic.

Nice stay, great views regardless of floor. Great beaches (especially Megan’s bay - walk all the way to the left it’s super secluded). The only negative things are: the food is mid, you have to taxi basically everywhere, and they rip you off as soon as they hear ur not from the island. Get a restaurant worker to call with the “island boy” accent and you’ll get a better rate.
