Enjoyed our stay at feathers hotel, drinks a bit pricey though

Lovely clean, warm room, hotel has a a great restaurant and some lovely fireside seating in lounge - we would definitely recommend the Sunday lunch at the restaurant! We experienced a little bit of noise on Saturday night due to the hotel’s proximity to the road and nearby pubs but it was lovely and quiet on the next night. Plenty of car park spaces to rear once you drive under the arch to the left of the property.

Beautiful hotel with an excellent restaurant

Good stay overall, just disappointed that there was no room servicing due to staff sickness. Hotel was full of character and in a good position.

Uninspired, overpriced, understaffed. Half eaten takeaway in room fridge on arrival. Room not serviced on second day due to staff shortages. Poor quality not properly cooked breakfast. Overall a very disappointing two nights.

A lovely 2 night stay with our dogs. Bedrooms spotless and well equipped. Fantastic breakfast best Eggs Benedict I have had for a long time. Friendly staff.

Absolutely tiny room. No sound proofing from Hall could hear every word of conversation. Ironing board and fan shoved in the corner. Clothes rail hanging over bed. Mould on shower sealant. Asked to move immediately but hotel fully booked. V nice reception manager but couldn’t help in any way. Do not recommend. Terrible value for money.

We and a group of friends enjoyed a one night stay at the Feathers in February 2025. We occupied room 216 which overlooks the high st. The room was on the small side but was comfortably furnished and the bathroom was a good size and had been recently refurbished and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and we were able to sleep with the window open. The common areas of the hotel are attractive and there is a cozy lounge and bar. Breakfast was good. We did have to wait 45+ minutes for our cooked breakfast to arrive but the manager did not charge us for it so no complaints Ludlow is lovely. Excellent independent shops, pubs restaurants and markets

A hotel full of character with modern facilities. Limited hotel parking at extra cost, we got in early. Evening dining was great, high quality food in a pleasant restaurant. Room was pretty good but not great, all together reasonably priced. Very central to the market town of Ludlow, good shops, interesting area with a castle and walks. Recommended, we would stay again.

The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Ludlow. There is on site parking and the castle is a few minutes walk away. Check in was simple and we navigated through the meandering corridors to reach our rooms. It’s a 400 year old building so there are stairs, steps and turns as well as some fabulous wood panelling and glass. My room, 104, was a good size with an excellent modern bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable, there was a good sized desk plus additional seating and the sockets all had USB ports too. The room was quiet, overlooking the car park and despite the hotel being busy there was no noise intrusion from other guests. Breakfast was excellent, buffet with various cooked to order options. Not excessive but good sized portions and decent service. Overall a lovely stay in a fabulous location.
