Sue and Mike were the perfect hosts from the minute we stepped into their amazing home Our room was so comfortable and cosy and we had everything we needed for a perfect stay In the morning we had a wonderful breakfast prepared by Mike and we all had a good chat over the breakfast table Nothing was too much trouble for Sue and Mike and I’m so excited to be going back in a few weeks See you soon x

Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out.

The hosts are wonderful - great customer service, both before and during our stay. The property is well located. Great supper and breakfast. Would certainly recommend it!

A really great place to stay, this: not only a lovely setting handy for all sorts of attractions, but an interesting building ,itself, inside and out. Then, there’s the bedroom, en-suite and their attendant facilities — all excellent. But the best part is Mike & Sue, the hosts: very welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining! Add to this the great breakfast (both for its many options, and its first-class execution and presentation), and you genuinely couldn’t ask for more. We hope to come again — definitely.

We normally use hotels rather than B&Bs, and were mildly apprehensive before arrival, but Sue and Mike are warm and welcoming, yet respectful of privacy when needed. Two-bedroom self-contained flat, well supplied and equipped, clean and comfortable. Even the TV is good, and you can log into your own streaming service. Huge, freshly-cooked breakfast menu included. Location handy for Portmeirion, Snowdonia, and Anglesey, and Mike can advise about other places. Certainly the best stay in our entire trip.

Really enjoyed our hosts. Stairs would be a problem for any mobility issues. Would visit again.

Perfect b&b is tucked into a Welsh vale with a tinkling brook, lush garden alcoves, and plenty of charm and history We were so delighted to have had the opportunity to stay at this wonderful place. The hosts are warm and engaging, the rooms are quiet and clean, and the surroundings are magical. The breakfast is next-level amazing too!

Perfect location for a stay near Portmeirion - ( The prisoner). Stunning scenery, beautiful beaches & Dolphins seen in the Menai straits by Caernarfon Castle. Sygun Copper mine is great too. Lovely friendly couple run the B&B - absolutely the best breakfast I have ever had. It is a very peaceful & quiet place to chill but you do need to drive

Really good, Mike and Sue really made us feel at home, and were able to accommodate us really well. Also, fantastic hone cooked breakfast.

What a great stay we had at Yr Hen Farcdy - Mike & Sue are so friendly and helpful, and their breakfasts are fab. Bedroom was quiet (blissfully) and comfortable with great facilities - teas, etc., and a great shower. Beautiful garden. Didn't actually want to leave.

Our stay was made to be very enjoyable by our hosts. Breakfast was superb and the room was comfortable. Although very isolated we enjoyed the stay.

We stayed in several B+B enorute..Mike and Sue where the best hosts by far.They offer genuine hospitality and a warm welcome with this little gem of a find for us both. You leave thinking how wonderful as hosts they both are.

This B&B was a hidden Gem and a refreshing change in a lovely location, especially for touring throughout North West Wales; not far from Harlech and Porthmadog. Mike and Sue are such friendly hosts. The house is lovely and full of charming character and spottlessly clean. Breakfast was comprehensive and delicious. Would love to stay again.
