This hostel is very good for a girls-only trip. I came with my friend and stayed for two nights in the girls’ dormitory. The room has a separate women-only washroom. It is great because we felt very safe, and the green gardens around the house, as well as the historic building, create a charming atmosphere. I can highly recommend coming here.

The beds are comfortable. But they don't have power backup. On the day I stayed, power went off in the middle of the night and it was very hot even though it rained. Additionally, they assigned a different room to me which didn't have wifi connectivity.

The house in which the hostel is located is very beautiful and quite peaceful. The rooms are well distributed and comfortable with AC. There is a well stocked kitchen (only vegetarian cooking allowed) and staff are kind and helpful. The location is okay, near a couple of nice restaurants and cafés (try The Old House!). But there aren't a lot nearby a lot of places to eat or supermarkets.

Good clean rooms, but AC option is very limited, even if AC room only some part is getting AC effect. Spacious design but no views. No food available, they have kitchen but I did not used it. Bathrooms are separated from room, those are clean and neet. Backpackers choice...

Me and my friend stayed in a four sharing dorm. Anyway. Service (People are friendly) is excellent.. the hall or the common room is really good.. A big TV is there but only works if you are carrying ur own laptop. However there are few catches.. will come back to that All the places are nearby- Mysore palace- 3 km max Zoo- 6-8 max Church- 2-3 km Brindavan garden- 22 km (but the road is excellent) Chamundi hill- 12 km Surrounding of the hostel is really good. Zomato and blinkit works (but make sure order it within 2 am) Local shops close by 10 pm max (10.30 sometimes) Now few negative points to highlight 1. If you’re coming with friends and want to drink and smoke.. then it’s a OOPPSS! Not possible.. that’s not allowed at the common area. (For that you have to go the garden, which is mostly surrounded with lot of mosquitoes). So, if you’re coming here with late night plans, I would suggest stay away 2. The room in which we stayed, bit congested and the locks were not that great. There is no mirror inside the room and also there is no attached washrooms 3. There is no food service available 4. It’s a strict no non-veg inside the kitchen, if u want to cook veg food, you’re welcome and get your ingredients like - salt, oil, some masalas (Cutlery included- One cooking spoon and vessel with an induction stove) Then where does it stand 1. If you want silent place, then it’s a good place to be 2. Very clean 3. Excellent staff behaviour 4. Want to make new friends 5. Well maintained Overall review: 3.4 out of 5 star
