The staff here are fantastic! I swear some of them must work 24 hour days as they are always there an available. They are quick with a smile and assistance, even in English, which was limited on the island. They were helpful in arranging transport and laundry as well as just checking in. The room was spacious, impeccably clean and the balcony was a real treat with views of the ocean and a warm breeze. I chose not to have daily service on my room, just occasional. I liked having a choice. Included breakfast had lots of options, some consistent and some that changed day to day. The crepes were delish, as was all the fresh fruit. The same kitchen and staff also serve lunch and dinner, which I took advantage of several times. The menu changed daily and everything I had was excellent and I would order again. The hotel is just up a small hill from a very busy tourist area, Ambatoloaka, which has lots of restaurants, shopping and essentials like pharmacy and ATM. It's a happening area. I'd recommend a lamp or flashlight for the dark hill walk. I always felt safe walking there alone.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The facilities are nice. The location is great, a short walk to the beach and all of the activities, but set up the hill away from all the noisiness of the beach and the clubs at the beach. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my next trip to the area. My only one small issue was that food and mini bar items can’t be paid for with credit card at the end of the stay, it has to be cash, which was not initially stated, so make sure you have enough cash or are able to use one of the local electronic payment types. Overall, I think this is one of the best accommodations in the Nosy Be area.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Rooms are huge, with a massive terrace. Spotless clean rooms and communal areas. Pool area great for relaxing. Great breakfast choice, fresh mango juice. The food menu is changed daily, really fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Great bar area. The staff are so helpful and accommodating, nothing is to much trouble. We organised trips through the hotel which were reasonably priced. Great location. Would highly recommend

I stayed three weeks at the Villa Ochidees. The staff is very professional and friendly. They are really trying to run a great place. The location is elevated from the touristy street and beach. This means there is a ~3min walk up an unpaved road (this first time you do this it feels unsafe, but it’s totally safe) but in return you get the most amazing panoramic view from your own terrace and from the common spaces. Gorgeous sunsets every day. Its has all modern conveniences (AC, room safe, mini fridge). They don’t price gouge on on-site services like food and laundry. The food is on par with the better restaurants in town. Both Chris and Clairmont speak English especially well and can help you with arranging excursions etc. It’s an excellent boutique hotel. The WiFi can be unstable sometimes but that’s the case for all of Nosy Be. Overall it’s a really special place.

The hotel didn’t have any of the amenities it advertised, the only people who were frequenting it were older European men and young Malagasy girls from the near by village. The food was something to be desired, our chicken meal consisted of two chicken wings. After a few days we checked out and found a better hotel. It was a very unpleasant stay and when I approached management they acknowledged that what they advertised isn’t what they offer, but still refused to give us a partial refund. I would not recommend.

Almost everything was great. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was great. The pool was nice as it's very hot in Nosy Be. Exchange rates were reasonable, and the prices for souveniers and food was no higher than on the main drag. The only surprising thing was that the less expensive rooms included breakfast in the price, while the expensive rooms did not. Very strange. The breakfast was only OK. Strong recommend.

Staff are wonderful. The property is alright. There are a lot of mosquitoes so make sure to.protect yourselves. Far too many flies flying round, however can be prevented if the hotel bought flies stickers to minimise them flying in food. Thank you for making our stay as comfortable as possible.

Fantastic location and wonderful staff who go out of their way to help. Especially Fifi, the manager of the restaurant who takes care of you as if you are family. The only downside is accessibility. You have to walk along a rutted and pot holed road and risk twisting an ankle, especially in the dark. Otherwise, would definitely recommend.
