Liked the friendly and efficient staff, good selection of restaurants, food was good, great variety at Elmercado (buffet), grounds well kept. Carolina at Mikes coffee shop was excellent, so was Randy at the El Beso snack bar. The piano bar was a nice touch. Beach on resort was ok but difficult to swim due to rock ledges. However the lagoon beside the beach was beautiful and very swimmable. Concrete curbs are high so be careful stepping off. Suggest more ramps to and from walkways, which will also help wheelchair transportion. Overall I would visit again.

Overall great resort. Food was delicious and property was well taken care of with plenty of amenities. As someone who spends the majority of their time on the beach, the shoreline is quite rocky so I would recommend bringing water shoes.

Great place for vacations

Check in went well with a welcome drink and a bottle of wine in our room. Property was huge but walking wasnt an issue for us. We definitely got our exercise. We had the junior sweet which was nice except the bathroom area. We had two leaks coming from the ceiling. We told a manger/ front desk about it twice and nothing was done about it. They didnt check on it or offer to move us. We were stuck dealing with it when it decided to leak. The sliding door frame to get to the patio was pulled away from the building. You could see through it to the outside. There was a piece of wood in there where they attempted

I just got back from my holiday yesterday, I just want to say it was fantastic, the service was incredible, special thanks to Jose Miguel who made my stay so carefree, anything I needed he was there. The beach was so nice never had a problem finding a beach chair. Pool and the swim up bar was great. I can truly say I would go back.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The service was ok. You either had a really nice, helpful person or the complete opposite. Dining was mediocre. The Italian and steak restaurants were good but we had poor service at both. The burger/hot dog stand was a directional mess. The rooms were clean and always stocked. Unless you’re up at 5:00 am to go out and reserve a chair or cabana, you’re not going to get one. They do allow you to bring your own floating devices which was nice.

Our hot water for the hot tub wouldn’t get hot

We had a great time on our trip to the resort! We found the food to be great at all of the a la carte restaurants and the buffet had plenty of options for everyone. The pools were all very well maintained and the staff was always very pleasant at every bar or restaurant we went to. The only negative we really experienced was that there seemed to be issues with not being enough chairs with people putting towels on 2-4 of them and then just leaving them there the whole day even if they were elsewhere. But I know that’s common at a lot of resorts and more on the guests than the resort. We also had a personal guest experience specialist named Johanser by staying on the el beso side who was very helpful and attentive with helping make reservations for the a la carte dining and answering questions. I definitely would come back again.

My adult daughter loved it. For me it was “meh”. Room was nice other than mysterious leak in the room and noisy neighbours. Facilities were nice other than beach which had red flag up the entire time. Found the public beach beside the beachfront which was swimmable. Food was varied but nothing stellar and I got sick from the buffet near the end of my stay.

Our stay at this resort was exceptional, and we would definitely give it 5/5 stars! The dinner options were diverse and delicious, with something for every taste, and the drinks were equally impressive—craft cocktails and refreshing beverages that perfectly complemented the atmosphere. The pool area was lively and well-maintained, providing a great spot for both relaxation and fun, while the beach was pristine with soft sand and crystal-clear water. Safety was a top priority, and we felt completely secure throughout our stay. A huge shoutout to our concierge, Jose, who made our experience even better. He was incredibly helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed, from reservations to local recommendations. With excellent service, amazing food and drinks, and a beautiful setting, this resort truly deserves all five stars! Highly recommended!

Javier at the Le Beso swim up pool bar was great. One thing give people a chance to settle before coming at them to sign up for your time share. Some people already spend alot of money for this trip. A flyer is fine but taking people out of their vacation is a little much. The food could have been better more of your cultura food the rice and beans ect instead of trying to make the american food. Came looking for the DR Punta Cana experience. Our room jacuzzi wasnt working so it was never used including the other bathroom that was a drag for the amount of money spent on it.

Ocean El Faro/El Beso (adults only) was absolutely beautiful—clean, modern, and well-maintained. The landscaping was impeccable, and the staff were always friendly. Our room was stunning, featuring a balcony with an egg chair swing, dual waterfall showers, and a canopy bed. Some reviews mention a musty smell, but given the Dominican Republic’s humidity, it’s expected. Housekeeping was excellent, refreshing our room twice daily. The food was outstanding! We loved El Mercado (buffet) and Pez Dama (adults-only oceanfront). For dinner, Sakura (hibachi), Dolce Vita (Italian), the Steakhouse, and Route 66 (late-night snacks) were fantastic. Service was quick and friendly everywhere we went. Evenings were spent in the piano bar, enjoying music and card games. The pools were refreshing, with great cabanas and bar service. Though the beach was rocky, a nearby lagoon offered calm waters for floating and snorkeling. The resort is large, so walking is required, but we found it peaceful. Activities like bowling, live music, and Main Street entertainment kept us busy. The resident cats were an unexpected delight! Overall, we were beyond impressed and would highly recommend Ocean El Faro/El Beso. Can’t wait to return!
