First and foremost when I went to check in the front desk clerk who was a sweetheart told me they do not accept Overseas credit cards like Visa Mastercard or American Express.(never had any of the information on the Expedia site). They only accept CASH payment or Indian Bank cards. But as an out of country guest I had to make arrangements for cash. So if you plan on coming to this hotel bring CASH. Also we were traveling in January and it had snowed and the driveway leading to the hotel is in a steep decline and to get out in the morning the car could not go up because it had snow and black ice and the car would skid and had to wait until the sun would melt the ice. The hotel management does not believe in clearing the snow and no help to get the car out. So if you want to stay at this hotel in winter STAY AWAY. Summer would be a nice stay. The hotel does not have heat or A/C. The lobby does not have heat or A/C so in winter it's very chilly so is the breakfast area. It's hard to eat in a very cold sitting area as the food will get cold super fast. The room was comfy but had to get a portable Heater to get a warm room. The room size is big and well kept. The staff are very helpful. Seems like the owner did not consider putting heaters anywhere especially in cold weather would make the place comfortable and enjoyable Other than these problems I had. It's a wonderful hotel with a great view.

Let me make this very simple for all you introverts looking for the best place to stay in Manali. Sylvan Hues, from my perspective, is the only hotel to stay in Manali. The views are simply mesmerizing... we ate at the hotel everyday. As for the food, it was organic food prepared with lots of love by a master chef. I will let your imagination take the lead here... to sum it up, our stay at Sylvan Hues was out of this world and all thanks to the genuineness of the personnel ❤️ Thank you so much for making our first trip to Manali sooo memorable ☺️🙏
