Excellent accommodation and pub.

Close to M6 - great stopping off point

We stayed here for a night whilst travelling back home from the Lake District. I would highly recommend the Fleece Inn. Great pub, dog friendly, really nice rooms and owners are really welcoming.

The Fleece Inn surpassed all my expectations! If I could give it 6 stars for comfort I would. A large and spacious room with a really comfy, huge bed, and large bathroom with a separate walk in shower as well as a large bath and heated floor. The food was excellent with a really nice choice and 4 different real ales on draught to choose from. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a fairy quiet comfortable room, adequate evening meal and a very good breakfast. Staff were very helpful. A very good experience. We have stayed at the Fleece before and will do again.

We had a wonderful night Daniel Christina and the whole team were amazing nothing was too much trouble and the room and food were both incredible! Would hugely recommend and will definitely be back.

Lovely country pub with a local shop and a nice vibe from the locals in the bar. Excellent food and comfortable accommodation with beautiful bathrooms.

Friendly helpful staff good atmosphere. Shame there was no food service on Monday Evenings.

Had a really nice stay! The inn and grounds are very picturesque and Staff where nice and friendly, couldnt fault our room, although i must state that the inn is in the middle of nowhere with nothing round and about, no public transport nearby, so if your wanting to go anywhere you will need to drive and everything is a little overpriced.

My wife and I stayed one night, to break our long journey. A lovely country hotel with a busy bar and delicious food.Breakfast was lovely with plenty variety and any requests from guests outwith the menu wasn’t a problem.

We have stayed here a few times and love the setting, the building, the staff but it is a bit let down by the food.
