There was no response when I asked for help checking the AC which was not cold enough, the receptionist was not very friendly, even though the room and location of the hotel were really good.

simple. not too luxurious. BUT clean, tidy, and comfortable. access to everywhere is close. there are delicious foods nearby. there are premium brownies brand opium nearby. there is a good local shoe store brand mills across from it. the downside is there are no toiletries, except towels and soap. maybe you can ask the receptionist. if the water is hot, you can ask.
