Delightful hotel in classic period building. Spacious and stylish bedroom. Only shortcoming is lack of some amenities, such as tea/coffee maker, tissues, sufficient power sockets.

The Allegro is wonderful. Steps from the river and restaurants and sightseeing. Our A/C was a bit weak but we had nice windows to open up.

This was a very nice hotel on the edge of the old town pedestrian area. The breakfast was very good but had limited items. Some of the rooms would be difficult to get to due to the stairs if you have mobility issues. The bed was a typical firm European mattress. The location is excellent.

The only reason why I am not giving a 5 star on the property conditions is because the bed was uncomfortable, and we were given twin size duvet covers that stay on only if you stay still all night long. That was uncomfortable

Stayed in a suite, excellent size and comfortable, though a little tired and rough around the edges: missing light bulbs, no tea and coffee making facilities untill I asked for a kettle, sofa my missing cushions. Decent breakfast. Brilliant location and excellent front of house service, in particular Thomas who was super friendly and kind, and made us up a breakfast pack for our early 5am departure.

This is a beautiful and absolutely charming hotel. I was thrilled to reach the Allegro after a long day of traveling and find it to be so well-maintained and lovely. All of the staff members are extremely kind and helpful. My room was very clean and spacious and prettily decorated. The location could not be more convenient, within a short walk to everything in the central historic area. I recommend it highly and most certainly would stay here again.

This is a super cozy property with old world charm & a very gracious staff, loved it!!

Comfortable but small room. No lift so had to carry suitcases up a few floors. Great position. Safe, easy to walk city, close to restaurants and bars.

Incredibly nice staff in a perfect location!

It's a small, atmospheric hotel, tastefully furnished with antiques in the common parts. It is the old part of town, conveniently placed for restaurants, shopping, sightseeing & the castle. They serve a very nice breakfast in the hotel.Rooms are clean and my bed was comfortable. The only drawback is that there is no lift in the hotel. You have to climb stairs

Right in old town. Best location evet

Charming small hotel on a pedestrian street in the Old Town, with very friendly and efficient staff. Very good buffet breakfast where you can also have eggs cooked to order. My only quibbles are that the stairs are kind of tricky, with railings that aren't continuous, and the shower really needed some kind of nonstick mat.

The Allegro Hotel is a charming property full of character. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is no lift. The location is excellent, on the edge of the Old Town in a pedestrian area close to the Ljubljanica river. Nearby streets are full of interesting shops and places to eat.

The staff was kind and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The location could not be beat! However, the hotel is tired and the room had that smell of mildew. Also, the shampoo and soap in the bathroom were not great. But again, the people and location made our stay still a good one.
