Out of everywhere we could’ve chose to stay in Dublin, I’m so so thankful we ended up at The Mayson. It was everything we needed for a long weekend in Ireland. The restaurant below was delicious & the bartenders next door knew what was up. We had such a memorable time, & everyone here combined with the atmosphere made our time away from home even more enjoyable!

Room was absolutely tiny and could have been cleaned better, dirty tea cup, dirt under the bed and hand print on bathroom door. Nothing major, just a bit careless. For the price, I expect more. We did get vouchers for some bubbly to celebrate a birthday which was thoughtful. Rooftop bar closed when we returned and hoped to enjoy at nightcap at 11.30pm so that was a pity. Comfy bed. Noisy works outside but beyond hotel’s control. Nice little pool. Checkout slow and other guests skipping queue to get away faster. Online checkout or swift checkout (drop keycard and go) would be a good idea.

The stay was for two nights. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, the communal areas were clean and tidy. The room was small, the lights above the bed did not work as one had no bulb in it. This was reported to reception who said they would sort it out, but it wasn’t attended to.

Was a cool place and so close to 3 arena, couldn’t ask for better! Didn’t use the pool, gym or steakhouse but the other restaurant and bar worked great for me. Was a bit of a walk into the busier areas of Dublin but totally doable. Bus stop close, easy to get around. Clean room, comfy bed, friendly staff. Would stay again!

The rooms were a bit worn out looking, and small. You’re really paying just for the location - we were at a concert near the 3Arena which was a short walk. Lobby, restaurant, and hallways look like a fab place, but the rooms were a let down.

Excellent hotel, very modern and stylish, staff were great and breakfast is wonderful. Great bar area and a pub/bar attached to the hotel with a brilliant atmosphere. Perfect location to explore Dublin while still being in a relaxed and quiet area. The Point tram stop is a few minutes walk away and will take you straight into the city centre for a few euro. The hotel is a few hundred yards from the 3Area which is where you can get the Dublin Express coach to and from the Airport. Also coaches will pick up here for gigs at St Anne’s park. Less than a mile to the Aviva as well. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Dublin.

Really enjoyed our stay was ideal location for the 3 Arena. The hotel is lovely nice decor and friendly staff. Rooms were a little on the small size but the room had everything you needed down to Dyson hairdryers. Beds were very comfy and overall was very clean and tidy.

Service at breakfast was terrible Staff ignored us and we walked through the door and they were right there then very dismissive and rude I could continue but It wasn’t great at all - we will not return Which is in contrast to the evening meal the night before where the service and food were tremendous ! Room are very tight

Lovely hotel. We were able to check in early which was a bonus. If you have a room with a balcony it does mean you get the noise of the bar/restaurant but they were done by midnight. Very good room sizes for the super room. Staff brilliant. Would stay again.

Rooms are extremely small. Bed is up against the window and major construction work happening which causes significant noise. Breaks fast choices for vegetarians is minimal and tastes basic at best.

OK - I’m not sure what’s going on here - from the marketing materials and online presence I expected a lot more. We opted for a warehouse suite for the extra room, but were saddled into a dank and airless space with low ceilings and furniture at the end of it’s life expectancy. Strange stains on the upholstery and ceiling. You’d think this place opened 20 years ago from the condition of things. Avoid suite 401 at all costs. And it’s expensive to boot. Nope!
