Overall, Sultanahmet NU Hotel is recommended for those who want to vacation in Istanbul: - Location: close (walking distance) to several famous tourist attractions in Istanbul (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Indonesian food stalls and other places, around the hotel there are many shops, travel etc. - The hotel room is quite comfortable, complete facilities - The staff is very good, helpful if we need it, for example directing if we want to go to a location, building or reminding if there is a schedule with travel. - For food you need to pay again, breakfast costs 10 euros (I didn't have breakfast at the hotel) - The hotel is not big and quite quiet so it's comfortable. - Affordable price.

The location was great! Only about 3 minutes walk to Sultanahmet/Blue Mosque, the location was perfect if you're visiting Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, or Grand Bazaar. All of those landmarks are within walking distance from the hotel. It also very close to Cemberlitas Station that could take your visit further. The hotel surroundings also perfect, it was super easy to find grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, souvenir stores, etc. But please note that the road in front of this hotel is pretty steep that could be trouble if you're taking a large & heavy luggage with you. Checking in was so easy & the crew was very helpful that they let us drop our luggage so we can explore the city before check in time. They even let us checking in early since the room was ready. The room it self was pretty neat & got everything we're needed, but there is still room for improvement: 1. The room lock still using the traditional key & there 's no secondary lock from the inside. Extra lock. 2. The water closet seat are a bit off that need to be tighten. 3. The bathroom need a hanger where we could place our towels. 4. There 's no clothes hanger in the closets, but hotel crews managed to give 2 hangers after we ask. That 's all we got for a 4 nights stay, overall it was a nice & leaves us a good impression on our first Istanbul visit. Kudos for the hotel crew!

The location is strategic even though it is a bit hilly. Friendly staff. There is a viewing post. The price is quite cheap. Rooms are small but clean. Recommended for in Istanbul.
