I’ve been staying in this hotel for about 8 years and have been a witness to its fall into disrepair and dinginess. The staff are doing their best, but it’s obvious the owners aren’t invested in updating or maintaining the property. It’s a shame because it’s in a great location and very convenient to get to. Hope someone takes over soon and restores it to its former glory.

Very friendly staff. The building is a little more run down than my previous stays. The room was clean and orderly. The small pool was dirty and unkempt. Great central location

Nice hotel and pool facilities. Great breakfast. Rooms very clean. Pillows are not comfortable. Friendly staff Be aware the photos are misleading this hotel is nowhere near the beach as the main photos suggest. That is a beach bar. The hotel is a 10-25 minute walk away inland

This hotel is a great location in the city center and walking distance to the beach. The breakfast is wonderful with many choices of food. Outdoor spaces are very relaxing.

Location is great and staff are excellent. However the hotel and room needs some renovations for the price paid per night.

Great choice at breakfast. Overall the hotel was a good standard with o lovely feel. The air conditioning worked really well and this was very important for us after hot day's in the sunshine .

There is no parking available. Guests have to park their rental cars at least 300 feet away on the other side of the square.

The pool area is nice and the beach club too. The rooms however are quite small, with a suitcase in the room there’s hardly space to walk around. The gym equient is terrible, a lot of it is broken, the staff does not know how it works and the treadmill is so old that half of the buttons don’t work and it malfunctioned a couple of times while I was using jt so I fell of it. Very dangerous. The old wooden floors in the rooms are not so clean and should be polished. The staff is friendly but not helpful, I had to get the treadmill working myself and come up with solutions for my other problems by myself too. Although I had 3 pieces of luggage I had to ask if someone could help me with them and if it was up to the reception staff, I would have still been waiting for transport to the airport. The breakfast is really good however, that’s the absolute best point about this hotel.

Nice hotel, good service.. in mindelo dont have a lot opcions this is no exactly cheapper but the better opcion around.

Best hotel in Mindelo, with a complete range of services and a great restaurant. A good gym with everything you need, including a squat rack. A big pool area and outdoors and indoors restaurant areas. Live music on weekends on the bar patio. Nice decorations, arts, masks, etc. Internet is as good as useless, so I'm happy I brought my own. The beds were the most noisy ones I have ever slept in. I used earplugs to avoid waking myself up when turning. Rooms are small, bathrooms are flawless. I recommend this hotel, don't believe the low rating.

The hotel need some maintenance!

Stayed for 2 nights on business, good hotel, friendly staff and very helpful when I needed to move rooms to try and get a better wifi signal. Wifi still bad, only really usable from recepetion area.
