Arrived at the hotel around 11.30. Check in was disappointing as there wasn’t actually anyone at the desk. Rooms were not ready so did a pre check in and spent some time adding the information we gave in order to text us when the rooms were ready. Another party arrived at the desk for check in whilst we were there and had a very different experience with an another receptionist. Greeted, offered welcome drink, at which point, the lady who had been dealing with us for some 10 minutes or seemed to recall what we assumed was proper protocol and offered us a drink. No text. Went back to the hotel at 3.30pm to find one room was ready but none of the information I had given at pre check in had been recorded / saved … hence no text. The second room wasn’t ready until 20mins past official check in time.
