Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and comfortable

The hotel was just right in the town centre so very convenient and restaurants just couple of minutes away. Rooms are comfortable and cosy. Breakfast is very good. We were given a packed one as our flight was very early in the morning.

Conveniently located near the center of Alta. Self check-in is easy with the code being sent via email prior to arrival. It would be nice if breakfast lasted longer: it’s quite early from 7-9am.

Great, smaller hotel conveniently located in the center of Alta. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this property over the chain hotels in town, for sure.

We as family of 4 stayed in a room. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Hotel is right in the centre of the city and very conveniently located. Bust stop is just about 150 metres away and it took 15 minutes by bus from the airport. Amfi Mall is right near the hotel and several shops and eateries are around the hotel. The hotel is a good value for money with friendly and helpful staff.

Good stay, however some of the rooms are very small. I’m 175cm and 75kg, was by myself and it was very cramped. There were no clothes drawers and I had to squeeze into the shower. Despite having a double bed If you’re 180cm or over or 2 people for any more than 1 night I’d say you’d need a bigger room.

There is no free parking. There is a television, but there are no TV programs

construction outside the hotel, the new front staff were slow. The breakfast area is nice and big, fresh options. 3rd time staying here. will likely be back.

This hotel is vastly underrated. It's really cute, quiet and lots of bonus amenities not mentioned (discounts at local restaurants, gift shop, etc.) I stayed at another local hotel in Alta when I returned from my excursions, and Canyon cost less, but was much nicer. If I return to Alta, I would absolutely stay here again.

Wouldn’t recommend staying. Not a quiet place to stay nothing to do with hotel residents but maybe hotel bar downstairs. people outside (-15 degrees) shouting and screaming at each other until police turned up.

We stayed here 3 nights. First- if you are considering going to Alta- do it. This was our favorite location during our two week trip to Norway. The "downtown" area is one pedestrian street the equivalent of 4 blocks. The Canyon sits almost right in the center. There is an indoor shopping center almost across from the hotel which gave us some nice escape from the cold. Anything you may need is there- it was also just fun to walk around. The hotel is very nice with a wonderful restaurant on the first floor, that also served free breakfast. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. The staff was wonderful and helpful. If you are going to Alta and are looking for a great place to stay you will not be disappointed in the Canyon

Close to city center, sauna and pool, clean

The drain in the shower was clogged and some small things were broken. But compared to the price, I was really satisfyed during my stay in Canyon Hotel.

Centeral location. Very comfortable and beautiful rooms. Very afficient service There is a big parking place nearby. You have to pay part of the day.
