We had an absolutely awesome stay at Riverfront Lodge! The staff/owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, it’s in a beautiful and peaceful location with great views, and very convenient for those traveling the Ring Road. Definitely recommend!

Quaint little place to stay for the night. One of our other bookings was canceled last minute and we found Riverfront lodge. It was cloudy, but I’m sure you could see the Northern Lights from a clear night. No light pollution around. Parking was right out front, and everything was great!

Stayed one night. Had issue locking door but staff were quick to rectify it. Nice property just outside of small town with restaurants and cafes. We stopped here between our golden circle day trip onwards to Vik. Room was pretty with a view of the river. No staff on site so check in is via lock box info that is provided day before or so. We didn’t get to stay for the breakfast as it starts at 0815 and we were already on the road. Room was a nice size for two people, clean with a small fridge and some things for coffee and tea. Some towels had a bit of an odour but we just didn’t use those. Otherwise beautiful location, felt very calm and peaceful. Better to have a car as it would be a walk down a side road then a highway.

Lovely location on a river. Rooms were very nice. Hosts/owners assisted with serving breakfast and were very friendly and hospitable.

Loved the view from the room! Like someone else said though the walls are paper thin so if you're sensitive to noise from others just be aware you might have to listen someone next door snoring all night

We stayed here 2 nights, amazing accomodation, cozy and quiet, modern kitchen. We appreciate care and we felt like home.

Good location and nice room which was recently updated. The breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly.

Easy to check in with lock box. The room was small but had necessary things like refrigerator, electric water boiler, silver wares and coffee maker.

A great place to stay! Breakfast and coffee was delicious, host was super kind and reachable.

Units right on river but didn't have a view of it. Detached, shared kitchen used for dinner and breakfast. Difficult to find - no sign. Room size was OK.

Helle caves is an interesting excursion just 1 min away. Good way to start your morning. Good fishing spot too

Enchanting cottage, very romantic view. Equipment was ok. Would have appreciated a bit cleaner cottage and warning about low amount of hot water . Otherwise, very beautiful and highly valued

Easy access from route 1.

Très bel endroit avec une vue sur les montagnes et la rivière, propre, une grande cuisine accessible au invités , des hôtes super gentils. Je recommande vivement cet établissement!
