Comfortable, friendly staff, delicious food, large swimming pool... 5 stars for a staycation with family...

Starting from scrolling through the app for a few days, wanting to stay in a fairly cool place, away from the noise and with a private pool. Finally fell in love with Bale Devata. Stayed 2 nights there, while it was a long weekend. Starting from the friendly reception staff and getting a welcome drink. The check-in process didn't take long, 2 staff immediately took me to my room while helping me with my luggage. In the room there is AC, cable TV, sofa, bean bag (my son really likes sitting here haha), a queen size bed that still fits three people, pillows can fit 4, there is a water heater for making tea & coffee, there is also mineral water. In the bathroom there is a water heater, it's nice to be able to take a shower with warm water continuously, the soap and shampoo are in pump bottles and smell good. Oh yes, the swimming pool is spacious, with a depth of 1.5m, finally looking for a float so the child can join in the plunge too, already got the float but the child cried because he had never been invited to swim, sorry ma'am if it was a bit noisy Then we got breakfast, we asked for it to be delivered at 7 am, and it was on time, thank you ma'am for delivering the food to the room early in the morning. The food was all delicious (you can see the menu in the photo). The staff were all friendly, the room and pool were clean, God willing, I will come back here again if I want to go to Jogja again. from Kaliurang street, Gentan market is about 5 km, hidden gem, good for family time, delicious breakfast, deep and spacious swimming pool for the size of a villa, classic joglo atmosphere, large bed can fit 3 people, cheap, friendly service, basically satisfied can be used as a reference place to stay if you go to Jogja again, only the drain in the bathroom is a bit clogged so the water stagnates, you have to wait 2 minutes for the stagnant water to recede, there is no drying area in the swimming pool, and there is no mirror to decorate in the room, so you have to go to the bathroom if you want to dress up, the rest is good and okay, a place to calm yourself from the hustle and bustle of the city

The room is clean and comfortable, the atmosphere is calm, the pool is high for children, suggest bringing a tire. The service is great, the food is delicious and after checking out get souvenirs.

The villa is quite spacious, all rooms have private pools, close to several culinary Jogja such as Pawon Mbah Gito, Tengkleng Gajah, although the location is a bit hidden gem but overall it is quite OK. The staff are friendly, the only drawback is that the breakfast is not very varied.

Really cool place. Clean, quiet, comfortable. The private pool has clean and fresh water. Maybe you could add a small clothesline for towels and wet clothes after swimming

If you want luxury combined with peace and quiet, Bale Devata delivers just that. To have a private swimming pool was amazing. I cannot fault the high standards provided, but the location is not good. There is really nothing of interest (that we could find) within a reasonable walking distance of the Villa complex. Eventually, as we didn't have our own vehicle, we had to call a taxi to take us into Slemen, the nearest place of interest and—as it turned out—not a patch on Yogyakarta itself. So top marks for peace and quiet, and high class accommodation, but you probably need your own transport to get out and about to discover the best of the Yogya life.

Ini ke 2 kalinya saya menginap di Bale Devata, dan mungkin akan kembali menginap di sini ketika ke Jogja. Kamarnya bersih, makanannya enak dan yang paling penting petugas dan karyawannya sangat ramah dan helpful.

The resort is really comfortable, it feels like your own villa. Ma'am, the mas is very friendly. Got a welcome drink, ate, delivered to the room, you can style it first for status 😅 the resort is also suitable for taking photos, clean rooms, clean swimming pools make the kids beta, h basically the best. Thank you Bale Devata, if you go to Jogja, you will definitely stay here again👍
