Great spot! A rare slice of cool in the midst of a lot of cheesiness.

Beautiful and easy location. Lots of places to relax and reasonable food and drink prices at the restaurant. A few places could use some touch ups and all the bathrooms could use more hooks and shelves! Good value for money overall

Prime location. The accommodation itself feels like a resort. It comes with beachfront, yoga classes in the morning for free, pool, bar/restaurant, spa services and a spacious kitchen where we can cook. My first time staying in a shared dorm and surprisingly I had great nights of sleep. The staff is always available to help and they are very friendly. I will definitely be back ☺️❤️

Location is epic.

Everything was clean. Incredible AC, comfy beds. The location is absolutely perfect to get to north beach. We had a family room which had no tv or fridge, but we didn’t expect that. It is very noisy. I have a 4 year old, and luckily he sleeps through pretty much everything. People party pretty late and the walls are thin. Might stay here again, not sure.

Nilu is the absolute perfect place for solo travelers who want to have a rustic, clean, naturally beautiful place to stay. Located steps from the ocean, I stayed in a teepee with air conditioning and clean, crisp sheets on a comfortable bed. I let the ocean lull me to sleep every night. It's within walking distance to everything and even has a dive shop on site. I went scuba diving my last trip there and it was fabulous! Knowledgeable, fun instructors who took us to 2 beautiful dive sites. This was my second time staying here and it won't be my last. As a solo traveler I felt safe at Nilu and on the entire island in general. Isla and Nilu have my heart!

Private Beach

You are right on a beautiful sandy beach with turquoise sea. But youre not allowed to swim due to the current. Nice vibe, with a kitchen facility, that needs renovation. Right next door to an excellent dive centre 👌 8

It is close to the main beach, Playa Norte, which is a positive. However, the beach at the property is rough and you are not allowed to swim there. Also, I had to change my initial reservation, and the property wouldn't refund me. I was very upset. Will not stay there again and don't recommend it.

This was an excellent stay! Well kept place, lots of amenities, friendly staff but the best? Its location!! We felt in the heart of Island, just a few minutes walk from the iconic North Beach as well as Hidalgo st. One thing tho the bathrooms are shared and the water pressure its terrible, that was the only thing that made us a little bit uncomfortable but not a deal breaker, the rooms have AC and it works amazing, the vibe of this place its very welcoming and the staff at the beach club are super friendly and treat you amazing, not to say the place offers free daily activities like yoga in the mornings, Volley in the evenings and so many other events. They also offer excursions, massages, co working space, shared kitchen… etc We will keep this place in our list for our next trip To Isla mujeres.

Teepee/hut was clean, crisp, clean sheets, bed made daily.

Everything was very well taken care of.

The staff at this place was incredible. The rooms were much smaller than I anticipated and wasn’t aware that we were going to need to share a bathroom. Nonetheless, we decided to stay extra days.
