A friendly family atmosphere made my stay at the Sands Hotel in Paignton vwry enjoyable.

Very friendly couple running the Hotel. I arrived at 13.30 by train. I didn't want to haul my luggage around until the 15.00 check-in time so I went straight to the hotel to ask if I could leave it there and call back to check-in. My room was ready so I didn't have to wait at all. I thoroughly enjoyed my long weekend break

Very pleasant stay. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Great view of the water. Generous supply of body products. Limited parking. No lift and stairs could be an issue for some.

This is a really good hotel to stay in, the host is lovely and will do anything for you, the room is clean and lovely, it’s right near the sea and there are loads of places to eat.. This hotel really cares about its guest.. highly recommended

We had a 3 night stay, along with other family members staying 2 nights. The hotel is very conveniently located, close to the sea front and amenities in Paignton. Our room was so comfortable and homely, absolutely spotlessly clean. The welcome from the hosts was so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay and the communication was good from booking to leaving. We would certainly be sure to book again when visiting the area.Our choice for booking this hotel was made on previous good reviews and we would certainly recommend.

This hotel is in a great location, right next to the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable for our weekend stay. There isnt much parking at the hotel, only 2 cars could park at the front. Thankfully we found street parking at the back of the hotel, but it was very busy. Overall it was a lovely stay.

Nothing really to dislike, my room was exceptionally clean and my bed was very comfortable, only issue I had was with the shower, had to run it for quite along time before the water would heat up, but everything else was fine.

Our host was friendly and nothing was too much trouble, fantastic views from our room , perfect location to walk to harbour. Town or goodrington , very clean

Lovely hotel very friendly and in a good location

I had a very relaxing holiday. 7 night stay. Hotel is on the sea front, close to the shops and train station for the steam train. I had no issues with parking but you can get blocked in on the back carpark. The hotel and room was clean and comfortable. Slept well. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Good value. I would visit here again.

Lovely place not easy to find. One bed room very good value but shower did not produce hot water. I tried running hot tap in bathroom as advised until got hot water and ran shower for another 10 mins but no hot water produced. When turning on hot water tap in shower no water produced firm tap so I left note for people to repair shower tap or repair hot water pipe into shower……….

Lovely people who were willing to do anything to make it a great place to stay.
