The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and updated well. They took all the things out of the mini fridge so I could put my own things in there. However, beware the breakfast. They did not mention any cost to me so I figured it was included. Nope! 16 euros a day, which is a tremendous overcharge for what you get. 16 euros is what I paid in a restaurant for seafood paella. The hotel 16 euros breakfast is basically a Continental breakfast of very average quality. I could have gotten the same from a cafe for less than half the price, and I didn't even know I was paying for it!

Excellent location in Barcelona which is extremely accessible through walking. We did not have to take public transportation even once! Very close to Barcelona-Sants train station and Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat airport. Bolt/Uber rides were < $35 USD. Many supermarkets nearby to purchase drinks/snacks prior to starting our days. Hotel staff were very responsive through Expedia messaging and allowed us to leave our luggage prior to check-in since we arrived around 10AM. They even brought our luggage to our room for us when the room was ready! Room was very clean and we felt there was more than ample space. Overall, pretty pricy but it was definitely worth it to us to not have to take the metro anywhere and we were able to do everything we planned! Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone coming to Barcelona.

Very nice place that really served our purpose. Room was a bit small, but we squeezed in and we were quite comfortable. Reception staff extremely friendly and ready to assist. Very nice breakfast buffet on the roof top.

This boutique hotel is in the middle of the tourist part of Barcelona steps away from restaurants, shops and Aerobus to the airport. We walked to Sagrada Familia church (amazing!) and it took us about 30 minutes. La Rambas is about 10 minutes walk, taxi ride to the beach aboit 20 minutes. This hotel has a roof top terrace with a restaurant that we visited but didn’t eat there. Great clean hotel - highly recommend it.

Wonderful hotel - Very clean, walkable to all attractions, not too noisy at night, bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff are very polite and very helpful. Thank you for having us, we have had a lovely time.

Sonder Casa Luz Barcelona was a fantastic stay! The stylish decor, clean rooms, and great location near Plaça de la Universitat made for a wonderful experience. The reception staff was welcoming and made check-in a breeze, and we really appreciated being able to store our luggage after checking out while we were out exploring the city for the day. Highly recommend!

What a gorgeous hotel. We absolutely loved this place when we visited Barcelona in March. The aesthetic is beautiful and the breakfasts on the rooftop were perfect. Highly recommend!!

A little noisy from the restaurants downstairs but it didn’t disturb us, and we enjoyed food and drink there our last evening!

The hotel is very convenient walking distances to centre and metro stations. Many shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. The reception staff is amazing and super helpful. I travel with a very well trained small emotional support animal and we were both welcomed. The hotel has a lovely roof top restaurant for buffet breakfast and other meals. The room had a kettle with teas and coffee plus mini bar and snacks. The only negative that was experienced is the sound proofing of the room. Noise is apparent from hallway - guests and housekeeping - as well as street noise from traffic, music, people- plaza nearby. Ear plugs and white noise machine available from reception if needed. Would stay again. Comfortable, convenient and welcoming.

Sonder Casa Luz is located near Plaza de Catalunya where we took both tours of the city. There are many shops where we purchased clothing. It’s so close to Las Ramblas where we went two days to snack on their jugos naturales, ate Jamon, fresh gyozo, fresh fruit and xhocolat. We walked to the Picasso Museum. We also walked to Casa Ballto from Sonder. So central to everything. Felt safe. The room was cleaned daily. Fresh towels and beds made. The concierges were so helpful. The breakfast is totally worth purchasing at the hotel. I had scrambled eggs, bacon, French bread, grapefruit juice, hot chocolate, lox on bread and a banana for the four days we purchased it. I’m not a coffee drinker so they were so accommodating. The rooms have a safe. I lucked out choosing this place.
