Staff was very friendly and accommodating, the onsen was divine. Only 1 JR Station away from Kyoto station.

Amazing hotel, one of the very best! Staff are friendly, clean, very chic and modern facilities, room is superb, clean, comfortable. We had the 2 toddlers with us, the superior twin room was fantastic, very spacious for Japan standards. One stop away from Kyoto station. Washing machines downstairs 4 - a bit pricey but handy to have. Vending machines are great just opposite laundry, smoking room and also the spa is fantastic! Didn’t try the food there but in the same complex one level down from reception there are restaurants, 7-Eleven next door, Family Mart a couple of minutes past 7-Eleven, Indian restaurant Sakura 10/10 and Hamburg and steak restaurant next to 7/11 is also 10/10! Starbucks across the road next to the station as well! There’s a massive playground around the corner from Starbucks and massive diner/restaurant across the playground. The railway museum is literally across from Starbucks and is a must visit and the aquarium is around the corner past the massive playground. Perfect location if staying in Kyoto with kids! Trains across from hotel, every 8 minutes to Kyoto, it’s perfect!
