Where do I even begin? I typically only stay in 4-5* hotels, but this was the best hotels I stayed in during my time Italy, I'd even go so far as to say one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.
I'll start with the highlight: Tanina at reception. She is an absolute angel. She printed out a map and guided me through Sirmione, wrote out a list of authentic restaurants, which led me to one of the most incredible meals I had during my entire trip, and she even arranged a complimentary dinner for me, one I'll never forget. She made my trip to Sirmione feel magical :)
As for the hotel itself, it was hands down the cleanest and most comfortable hotel I stayed in during my travels. The bed was extremely comfortable, unlike a lot of hotels in Italy, which only seem to favour rock-hard pillows. The room was also soundproof, so despite being in the city centre, I didn't hear a single sound from outside which was amazing after a long day of exploring! There was also air conditioning, another rare find in Italy. The bathroom was spotless and stocked with luxury shampoos, conditioners and even a skin care range!
The breakfast was exceptional. The hotel also owns a restaurant where breakfast is served, and the staff were so kind and attentive. And the food...oh my. Genuinely the best chocolate croissant I have ever had.
In all, I give this hotel a 10/10 rating. It exceeded all of my expectations, and I will absolutely be back :)
