We had 8 days of pure relaxation on our honeymoon at the SanSal hotel. The hotel is modern. Our room was lovely and somehow always cool in high temperature. Amazing view from our balcony. The staff are super friendly. We loved spending time on the roof top pool area. Its a short walk to beaches and into the brilliant old town I would 💯 recommend this hotel if you are thinking of staying in Chania. We will come back again.

This is one of the nicer hotels in Chania. The included breakfast buffet was wonderful— plentiful and with many options. The staff were all friendly and nice. There is a rooftop pool and lounge chairs with a bar that had amazing views and was a great amenity we enjoyed, especially for watching the sunset over a drink. The beds were comfortable. The downside for us was that it was not quiet, with noise heard from the hallways and adjacent rooms and the street, requiring ear plugs. Also, one of our 2 sinks in the bathroom was non-functioning due to a leak, and the shower was unusable due to it smelling like sewage. Thankfully there was a separate bathtub to use, but less convenient.

Renata was the reception staff who welcomed us gave us loads of recommendations for restaurants nearby and was very welcoming! She definitely made our stay so much more enjoyable. The hotel is small but we loved that it’s quiet and the view from the balcony is just amazing. Enjoyed our stay in Chania a lot and hope to be back!

Beautiful hotel in every single area - couldn’t fault it!

Our stay at Sansal Hotel was mostly fantastic. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the old harbor, with the best views of the ocean and sunset anywhere in the city. The staff was totally fantastic and very helpful with everything. The only thing that was a bit gross was the sink in our room. We booked a suite on the top floor, and the sink had been repaired in a makeshift way with a ton of caulk to waterproof the edges and corners. There was black mold growing all over it. Not just in one small area but really along every area. That’s not only gross but really not healthy, and certainly not appropriate for any room in a hotel like this. They should really take care of this problem before renting the room to anyone else.

Amazing place Huge room, huge bathroom, balcony with beach views. Staff are lovely and go out of there way. Breaky amazing. In a great area across from the beach and a 5min walk to the old town with lots of restaurants. Beautiful infinity pool. I cant fault this place and is the best one i have stayed in. I stayed 3 nights and there was a complementary bottle of white wine

Absolutely perfect!!! Location was excellent…walks of 10 minutes put you in the best restaurants and shops. Free parking, wonderful breakfasts and bar service…amazingly professional and caring staff…clean and comfortable rooms with balconies overlooking the water and an infinity pool on the top floor that does the same! Would fully recommend and would stay there again! Opt for 4th or 5th floor…the 6th if r can afford it!

We had an amazing time in Santorini staying at the hotel. The views are wonderful and sitting on the patio eating breakfast while overlooking the bay is surreal. It was located in a good location that was not overcrowded, but offered the best views. So many people walked by the hotel and were curious because it looked so relaxing and beautiful by the pool. Would highly recommend.

Perfect location to visit the old town or the beach. Rooms are spacious with all the amenities. Breakfast was great as was the staff at breakfast and the front desk staff as well. Lots of construction in the area but that seemed to be the case all around Chana. A lovely stay.

Amazing hotel, the staff was so helpful and the hotel itself was really nice and within walking distance of the Venetian Harbour without the crowds.

Fabulous Bouquet Hotel, walking distance from the Main town , beach and Harbour. The staff made our stay feel very special and welcoming. Breakfast was very good, the rooms are spacious and well equipped, with great views. Lovely rooftop pool and Bat too

From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with genuine warmth and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. His recommendations were spot-on, and his kindness made us feel like we were staying with a friend, not just at a hotel. The hotel itself is modern, spotless, and perfectly located—beautiful rooms with stunning views. But it’s the exceptional service, especially from Harris, that truly sets SanSal apart. Amazing. The hotel is phenomenal, the staff are even better. This will always be our go to place for Chania from now on. Would go back to Chania just to stay here. The breakfast was packed with something for everyone, everything really tasty. The location to everything is excellent. There was major building work going on over the road, but we didn’t hear a thing from our room. This is by far the best hotel we have stayed in

Great location, friendly staff and good service.

The location right beside the harbour was incredible. Easy walk to the lighthouse and Resturant’s. Rooms are beautiful and very new. Bed are comfortable and staff was very helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The pools were very nice. And the view from the rooftop at sunset was magical. Would definitely recommend staying here for all these reasons. Only thing I would change, putting in a fridge that is actually cold and the glass in the bathroom made privacy a little interesting sometimes. Plus the room with the pool, the balcony was always flooded and wet. Regardless of this, would stay again and loved everyday we were there.

Incredible hotel which we’d recommend wholeheartedly! Hotel staff went out of their way to offer the warmest Greek welcome and first class service, especially Apostolos, Renata, Anna-Maria and the other young man who served breakfast. Hotel is beautifully decorated, with stunning sea view rooms and a wonderful roof terrace. Delightful breakfast with plenty of local treats to sample. Very close to both ports and right in the centre, but quiet. We hope we’ll be back! Efharisto poli!
