Extremely pleasant and helpful personnel. Food was good but could be better.

As a first impression. Our booking was cancelled 3days before our arrival by the hotel. I only learned this because I wanted to check the check in policy. I chose the option to pay at the hotel, however I never at any stage of the booking process was asked to provide any bank details. Hence I was surprised when querying the cancellation with hotels.com I was told that the hotel had withdrawn my reservation due to failing taking payment. Without any notification was this done. I would recommend better communication from the hotel side. Anyway at the end we managed to get the same room for a reduced price, which in the end made us feel lucky. The hotel is quite dated, the shower is very small. Water pressure was good, but you couldnt move around freely. Bed was comfortable. The room safe door was hanging, so no use of it. The hotel spa facility was very small. Sauna provides room for 2 person only, but when we were there at least 6 were in. It definitely worth the walk to the main bath, which is roughly about 10minutes walk away and the entry is free with your wristband. Food was okish. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The cleanliness of the bathrooms leaves a lot to be desired. We booked a stay for two adults and one child. On the spot we learned that you have to pay extra for the child because he is 10 years old. It is a pity that when placing an order, there is no indication of the age of the children.

The water

Hotellet hade trevlig och hjälpsam personal, i Ungern är det lite av en raritet. Vi blev positivt överraskade att det ingick biljetter till Hungarospa. Hotellet hade eget termalbad från hälsokällan, men vi fick också full tillgång till Europas största spa, inkl. Premium Zonen, med alla lyxigheter. Både frukost och middag ingick, vilket var jättebekvämt. Vi blev positivt överraskade. Det är inget 5-stjärnigt hotell så givetvis är där skavanker, som för liten dusch kabin, trångt badrum, men man klarade sig ändå.
