The location is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable but be prepared for several flights of steps to get to your room.

Was initially tricky to find the entrance, and be prepared for some steps to get up to your room. We loved the location, the room and AC were excellent, and breakfast was great. We would stay here again!

Be prepared to share a restroom/Shower with others. But the showers work great! There is body wash available but it quickly runs out and is not refilled, so bring your own. Rooms are tiny. Cute, small balcony, but it’s dirty.

We stayed in a room with a double and private bath. It was small however suited our needs. Room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. A bit loud as pretty close to the core, suggest ear plugs or whire noise machine Staff were friendly and helpful. Mindful that the entrance is beside the restaurant in the alley and there are a lot of stairs. We were able to store our luggage behind the desk before we checked in and after we checked out for no fee.

Just arriving at the hotel was shocking. The building is old. The building's facade is ugly and neglected. The entrance is a little bit scary, you have to climb a lot of stairs (no elevator available as it was previously informed so it was not a surprise). But after you receive the room, you start loving it. The location is great and the room is good and clean. You can walk to every touristic spot with a lot of shopping and restaurants nearby. The area is safe and the breakfast is really good. Not a lot of options but is nice.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to check in early. The location was great. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty basic but good. It was a bit noisy outside which didn’t bother me but light sleepers should be aware. Overall great hotel and would stay here again.

This is a central hotel which is perfectly located for the tourist hotspots. From the outside, the hotel entrance was a little difficult to find as it was located off an alley on the back of it which led to two flights of stairs to reach the hotel reception. There is no lift. I consider ourselves to be lucky by having a room booked at the front of the hotel as we overlooked the square. The room was small but very clean. It has shutters on the windows and AC which we were very thankful for as it was summer. There was outside noise at points during the night but I was able to sleep and I feel that the slight sounds coming from the AC probably helped mask them. I cannot fault any of the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a continental breakfast with a good selection of breads, pastries, cereals, meats, cheeses, yogurts and fruit. With coffee, tea, juice and water available to drink. The only fault I had was that we experienced someone coming in off the streets to walk up the stairs to ask for money. The building door is open during day and I think the building houses more than just the hotel so there is no one on the door to see who is entering or leaving and there were some people in the area who looked like they may have drink, drug or psychological issues which led me to feel a little unsafe at times. I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for a central hotel which is close to the main tourist hotspots and overall I enjoyed my stay here.

Everything was excellent for my first trip from the U.S. to Lisbon. The experience was very pleasant, and breakfast was included, similar to the American style. I definitely recommend

What a great location overlooking Figueira square. The room we had, 305, was very spacious, (almost suite like) clean modern and bright with excellent views of the square and great air conditioning, which was needed during our visit. the complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and very helpful. the breakfast was light and just what you needed to start your day. You will be asked to book a half hour time slot for breakfast. As noted in the description, there are no lifts. the reception is on the second floor, we were travelling through Portugal for two weeks, so had two heavy bags of luggage. So I had a bit of exercise at the start of our stay and at the end. I didn't find it a problem and if you are travelling light, it won't be an issue. It's a city, so expect a bit of street noise. We were there over a few days of one of the Portugal world cup games, so there were lots of fans about. I slept well in the comfortable bed, so barely noticed.

This simple hotel makes staying in the middle of Lisbon affordable, and the location right off Rossio Square (metro station) is excellent if you get around by public transit. The rooms have the essentials (bed/s, chair, wardrobe), and there were five shared full bathrooms (toilet, washbasin, shower) on the floor I stayed at. Everything was old but kept very clean. The air conditioner in the room worked well to keep the heat at bay. The included breakfast buffet was very good, and when an early-morning activity kept me from going to breakfast, the staff made sure to pack me something to take along. Be aware that the reception is on the second floor and rooms can be up to two more floors higher up, and there is no elevator.

Simple clean and well located. Shared bathroom was no issue since we saw no one at the hotel. The ac over one bed was a bit problematic as it was blowing the air directly. Simple but good value for money.

Crisol Guadalupe May 23, 2026 - May 25, 2026 You rated The staff was rude, no information on anything we ask, they put Us on a room with no even a number next to the reception , look like a staff room, the cover of the bed was super dirty, we ask for a clean one, the lady come check with out saying anything, come back to the room and drop the comforter on the top of the bed and left, the entrance of the hotel was at the alley, next to a bar, men’s peeps next to the entrance, horrible experience at that hotel, breakfast was mediocre and the room also smells really bad and dirty. Don’t go to this place!
