Lifted up cover sheet and their was debri on the bed, a dirty wet washcloth was in the bathroom tucked with the "clean" towels. Shower was not clean and bathroom floor. Towels and washcloths did not look clean overall. Staff could have been friendlier. I also saw yellow caution tape at the back of the property and when we got in late at night, there was a man in the parking lot in his vehicle speaking very loudly. I didn't have a safe feeling.

I entered into the establishment and checked into the room. Walk in 306 first and thought it was clean. It was not. Floors dirty and not moped. There was poop on the toilet paper sitting directly on the counter. I happily walked down to ask for another room and was given one. The second room was not much of a difference. Floor dirty and not swept and moped. Bathroom bathtub was dirty still, hair nearly everywhere. Honestly was speechless for words. Spoke with the general manager the next morning and she was pleasant . I would not stay here at all. Just pass this place up by all means.

When checking in it took forever because the lady working kept nodding off. The elevator and hallway had the worst smell.When we got in the room there was roaches and what appeared to be dried up blood in the bathroom

When I went to check in there was a couple who was checking out complaining of roses in their room. I asked to see my room before I checked in and there were roaches in my room.I requested a refund and left if there's roaches in two rooms then the hotel has a problem.

Booked this hotel to go to Carowinds for a few days, after working all day then driving 5 hours we arrived at the hotel. We joked about the Mad Max film series car that someone was obviously living in before we checked in. We checked in at 2301 and the front desk clerk was pleasant. After we got our keys we went to the 3rd floor for our room and noticed the hallway vinyl floors weren't very clean but again it was 2305 so it was late, we opened our room door, turned on the light and immediately saw atleast 5 roaches running across the kitchen area, I turned my exhausted family back out of the room and went right to the front desk at 2307 explained what happened, and was offered another room, I declined because roaches don't stay in one room, she did not act surprised when I told her about the roaches. I said we are booking somewhere else, while she is saying she will speak to the manager in the morning I was also booking somewhere else. I waited for a phone call or email, I sent the hotel a direct message through hotels.com (where i booked the room), I even submitted a request of refund through hotels.com and the manager would not respond. Hotels.com offered me $25 hotels.com cash. Im still out $200. I do not like leaving bad reviews but this hotel will not rectify this issue. The roaches were not small, meaning they are thriving in that building, I wish I had taken a picture but I was so disgusted I literally pushed my family out of the door before they could get in

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I will be sending them pictures of the rotted cars, bikes with grass growing through them, filthy floors. And they had the nerve to charge $190 unrefundable for two small 12lb dogs. There were no trash bins in the room and only two pillows. The sheets were filthy. I will be contacting their corporate HQ

I was hoping to have a good experience but was extremely disappointed. Check in staff was awazing. Very friendly and efficient. The cleanliness of our room was the main issue. The floors looked like they had not been cleaned at all after the last guest and were outright disgusting. The bedding was stained and placed on the bed inside out There were dead bugs smashed on the wall and left. There was feces on the floor in the hallway right outside our room that cleaning staff just ignored. Bugs (roaches) were seen alive and dead in the hallway. The cleanliness of our room was brought to the attention of the front desk and nothing was done to address it. The feces in the hallway was swept up and removed with a broom but not mopped as the stain remained the remainder of our vist. Make sure to take bath towels as they only provide 2. There were not any complimentary toiletries provided. I would not recommend this property nor would I ever book there again. The rate was great and I was aware it is not a 5 star hotel at the time of booking however at the very least I expected it to be clean and to feel comfortable enough to be able to lay my personal belongings about the room however I kept everything packed up worried about bugs. I did love the customer service provided at check in. She was amazing.

This place wasnt so much a HOTEL as it was a HOSTEL. There were quite a few families living there. Not that THAT made it bad. There was the fact that No Housekeepers work at this facility. No "Do Not Disturb" sign to hang on the door because NO ONE is going to disturb you. Not one time in a full week did we recieve a clean towel or made bed or garbage change. As a matter of fact, there was 1/2 a roll of TP in the bathroom when we arrived with no back-up to be found. And when we had the nerve to go ask for one, we were given 1 roll and a hard time. Then we had to go ask for a garbage bag.. same response. I saw a roach on the wall behind the tiny fridge. The AC would shut off when you left so it would be clammy and damp when we returned. There was mold in the shower. There was one little towel hook in the weirdest spot behind the door, and no towel rack on the wall.. Quite possibly the worst hotel experience ive had (as an adult ;) please only book this as a last resort.

My son and I got this room for the night on a road trip for the in-room microwave availability. However, we did not expect a cockroach party in our rooms. Behind the kitchen counter, behind the drawers, behind the night table, and in the bathroom. Absolutely disgusting. The biggest hint of our bad stay should have been the 10 minute wait at the front window with no bell and no sign of life. Other points to be made would be the disgusting mattress hidden underneath two mattress covers. It looked like it hadn’t been washed in 10+ years. And also, the room itself had awful vibes with the air was so stagnant and yucky. Not at all worth the price and definitely not worth the $50 deposit. Ironically, they made me sign a contract saying I’d pay $250 if I wrecked anything. Newsflash: it’s already wrecked! Do not stay here if you can help it. P.S. the room is non refundable.
