Located in the heart of the old part of the city. Convenient to sightseeing buses and subway. I used the subway for round trip transportation from the airport. Lots of stairs and NO elevator I could see. Don’t bring a large suitcase or a heavy bag, Also bring a pad lock for your valuables. Luggage closet at the front desk is not guaranteed.

The bed was used and the guys give me the bed like that. When I was ready to sleep, the bed was durty with dust and they pretend to me changing the bed when it is not my work. The bathroom was not cleaned and we didn't have toilet paper for long time. No good experience. But in the morning they tale care of my luggage very well only.

Easy one to review. Magnificent foyer, modern finishes, polite desk staff, superb location. Then, dirty bathrooms, completely unusable kitchen for coffee, reserved female bed but ended up in mixed bunk. Its ok but theres a lot of choice. Unless your budget is rock bottom, because you cant beat the price.

Walkable to areas I wanted to go to and close to public transit.

The bed was comfortable, plus the rooms and bathrooms were super clean. I traveled there during Christmas holidays and there was lots to see and do within walking distance and transit or an uber were swift options to get around. Not having an elevator was a bit of annoying though.

Worst hostel etiquette I’ve ever seen from guests and nothing for about it.

Extremely noisy from people talking the whole night. Now it is 1:28 AM there is still loud conversation outside my room and the hotel did not oversee or try to calm those customers down. No blankets. Not enough towels. Not enough chairs. soap dispenser is not working. Tissue paper is placed where it is not understood what they were thinking.

The room was smelly. It was hot, they do not hace A/C and the minimum they could do Is installation of ceiling fans. The bed covers AND bed sheets werenot clean

The sculptures on the ground floor are great fun. The restaurant is great! Wonderful seafood and service. The young adult staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The eco-friendly running of the hostal is a true gift to the world. The only drawback was having a room on the 4th floor (80 steps with landings) which was difficult due to my 73 years and some current physical limitations.

The buildind was beautiful. The staff was helpful. They didn't have air conditioner and the sheets were dirty. It was too noisy at night.
