Disrupted sleep due to ventilation system causing extreme vibrations through room causing door to rattle throughout the night and hotel were unable to move us as were fully booked. Hotel offered good location within walking distance to city centre, late open bar however room was a little tired and cleanliness fell below expectations due to dust and body hair on sofa.

The location was convenient. Staff was wonderful. The room was big. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. But it smelled. Not sure what it was - dirty carpet, bathtub mold, something rank. Definitely needs a good scrub and maybe some updates.

Hands down the best room I’ve ever stayed in. What a VIBE!! Completely clean top to bottom, towels so soft, linen crisp, a record player and records to play, clean soft carpet, gorgeous features throughout. The customer service was epic as well, couldn’t ask for better.

Property was nice, staff were friendly. No elevator working therefore lots of stair cases whilst staying on the upper floors. Breakfast was poor, most items were cold.

This was a last minute replacement for a failed VRBO but was a highlight of the trip. A great vibe with very friendly staff. Easy walking distance to city centre and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Room was spotless however it was too hot- no air con , just a fan which was insufficient . Also, I am 5ft 2. The lighting was so poor in the room I couldn’t put my make up on or do my hair, the bathroom light was a little better however I had to stand on the toilet to see in the mirror - and obviously not able to plug a hairdryer in ! Ok hotel , as long as you are over 5ft 7!

Look, I would stay there again although unlikely at full price. It’s clear what they want to do and that is align with the hip, music scene that is Liverpool and the general vibe of the Baltic. That’s cool and I like it. The rooms are modern, well equipped. Not overly spacious but enough in the confines of a not square space. I didn’t have a huge level of engagement with staff as I was only there one night - they were friendly. Security seems to be a bit of an oxymoron. On the one hand, your key card can’t open the front door so if you arrive out of hours during your stay, you’d better hope reception hasn’t gone elsewhere for a while! On the flip side, the key card readers which allow you into the lifts or into the room areas on each floor seem to be there for show only… you can walk straight through without swiping which, although a small detail, is one they might want to sort out. The room wasn’t overly warm to be honest even when I managed to put the radiator on and the curtain on the one side did not cover the whole of the window. All in all, it’s nice. Modern, hip, maybe even quirky. Decent location, well equipped. But all of the small things above add up to just dilute from fully enjoying it.

Was ok, no minibar items there, no room service, no food being served apart from breakfast but it’s not a b&b? I have stayed here before and it was better. Hope it’s not on the decline as the rooms are funky!

Asked receptionist for bus directions to Anfield. She told us to take the #27 bus. The #27 does not take you to Anfield. We had to get off the bus and literally run for approximately 30 minutes and JUST made it to the start of the game but her misinformation made us miss the singing of “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” Very disappointing for me and my son.
