Expedia markets this property as a five star hotel. It is most def not. The bldg is old. It has been renovated, but some spaces really showed the wear- like the elevator- peeling linoleum floor, hand brushed paint w drips and streaks. In our room, the toilet paper holder had been pulled out of the wall and the sheetrock repair was awful. The faucet on the sink was loose and moved from side to side. The pillows were flat as flat gets. The mattress was too firm. I asked for extra pillows twice before I got them and then it was not what I requested. The rooms were not soundproofed. Ppl were noisy in the middle od the night in the hallway and it woke me up. Lastly, the air conditioner would not cool the room. I asked that it be checked twice. Two times someone came up and got the air going, but it didn’t stay on long enough to cool the room. Staff was friendly. Christian followed up w us to make sure we were accommodated. This is more like a 2-3 star hotel.
