Shared bathroom when you book a mixed room

The hotel is highly recommended for its class in Singapore, close to MRT, easy access to various tourist attractions, and lots of halal food too, basically strategically located around Bugis Little India and Orchard.

The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very comfortable.

Only had problem with the guy at Reception on Friday, all others ok. Our TV never worked for the 2 days we stayed, but tv not so important for me. Noisy… people sitting and talking loudly all night, till 5am. Place is clean, and good value for money. .. Not going back.

The hotel is very comfortable, only 3 minutes from MRT Rochor, close to halal Indian food, close to Bugis Street, China Town, Mustafa Center and Haji Lane, all can be reached on foot.

Soundproof need to be block outside music

I had a bad experience staying at this hotel. My bathroom door was locked from the inside, I went to the lobby to find the receptionist and there was no one there. There was a weird instruction on the table, they wrote down a phone number and ask us to call that number through receptionist's phone if we need assistance (from there I knew that they only have 1 receptionist working at 2 different hotels, the other hotel is not too far but the receptionist had to walk from one hotel to another. It took long time until the staff came and I said that it is not ideal that the receptionist is not always ready and the staff said that the boss want to save money. What? And then I was moved to another room only for one night (I stayed for 2 nights) and the next day I have to move back to my old room after they fix the bathroom door which actually wasting my time because I have to move my things back from my new room to my old room. Please fix your hotel service, especially the way you handle the problem and the hospitality. I know many hotel that have same price as you have but they have better service.

Access to the MRT is very near,,, strategic location, with many restaurants surround hotel. But room won't be cleaned unless you ask for cleaning. Size of room very standard for hotel in Singapore... Hospitality was nice

Great madras has beautiful design concept and very helpful staff.

1. We had to wait 30-40 minutes to enter the hotel room after checking in because the room had not been cleaned up. 2. We stayed for 2 nights and during those 2 nights the bathroom light was off (we complained to the staff 3 times at different times but there was nothing they did) 3. On the last night the building 's electricity went out at around 22.00 and we needed to wait about 1 hour for the power to come back on. The worst is there was no apology from the staff for this incident.

Dirty room, in the shared toilet there is a used toothbrush that is not thrown away, the bathroom is not very clean. I am not comfortable in the bathroom. The rest is okay for this price it is cheap but the staff lacks initiative about toothbrushes, towels and cleaning the room, it was not cleaned for 4 days I stayed. But it is very close to the MRT, 5 minutes walk to the Little India MRT station.

The location is quite near to the MRT station and seven eleven and also some of restaurants. I had a nice experience when I stayed there. But I think the staff could be more helpful and nice. When I was there, the owner was angry and snap at the staff in front of custs.

No floor mat, room becomes wet after shower. Room is dusty as well.

I stay here for 8 night and so many thing I want share about this hotel. The air conditioner doesn't working good but the staff change my room to the smallest but have a better air conditioner. And then the staff never give more mineral water even I asked for that. I just received mineral water when I check in and moving room couse the room isn't cooling. Hairdryer is broken. What a bad hotel ever.
