Suitable for couples trip and backpacker. Cozy and clean.

Good location for bus stop, bedroom very clean and free flow mineral water from Coway dispenser. Bathroom very clean and the hot water consistent, but around the hotel lack of food stall.

I really like how the hotel looks inside hahaha, all the staff is very friendly and fast response. I would like to go back if I visit Penang again.

The AC cannot be controlled via remote, it is a bit difficult to ask for the room to be cleaned (it hasn't been cleaned for 2 days? & the room is a bit less soundproof).

During my 3 days visit in Penang, I should say staying at The Gallivant was the most convenient one. The room was clean and the bathroom was well maintained with basic amenities provided. There was a small wholesale store nearby. It was Very convenient. I would come back again.

I had a pleasant stay at The Gallivant Hotel Penang. The hotel is clean and looks exactly like the pictures, which is a big plus. The room is not very spacious, but it’s comfortable and just the right size for two people. For a budget hotel, it offers great value for money. However, one thing to note is that the hotel does not provide a Qibla direction, so Muslim guests may need to check it themselves. Overall, it’s a good choice for a short and affordable stay in Penang, and I’d recommend it to budget travelers looking for a clean and well-maintained hotel!

strategic location, quiet and comfortable

The highlight of this hotel for me.+ their bed and pillow, its so comfy. Since I changed hotel few times (in a month stay in penang) this one the best.- booked a deluxe twin I thought it will be the same room like in the picture with window and curtain, but the room I got (404) just have very small window.

Overall, everything is fine. However, there are some areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as the corners, where there is a noticeable buildup of dust, especially around the phone and beverage tray. The room did not provide tissue, hand towels, hand soap, or a refrigerator.

Nice and clean hotel with reasonable price. Only the towels need attention. Many are stainned or dated and torn.

Minimalist well designed and the staff are awesome and very helpful, love being here and enjoy all the details and service. Will be back soon

Strategic location near central George Town, close to the Penang Rapid Bus Stop, the rooms are clean & comfortable. The service is also good & you cal leave your bag at check-out until you finish sightseeing.

Hotel yang bersih & sangat nyaman, proses check in/out cepat, disediakan water dispenser di setiap lantai dekat lift. Tak menyesal menginap di sini & I’ll be back for sure if come to Penang again. Good job Gallivant!
