Initially I was a bit hesitant because the hotel's exterior looked a bit dated, but it turns out the interior, from the lobby to the rooms, is up to date and clean. My first note: several employees at the front entrance were chatting non-stop and laughing quite loudly. There were also employees who seemed to have just arrived or were about to leave but passed through the front guest entrance. Cmn, isn't there a separate gate for staff? Second note: breakfast wasn't bad, but some staff or trainees didn't know what was on the menu when asked. We were told, "I don't know what's on the menu either." Another staff member said, "I'm new." As for the food, the klepon was cold and hard. The bread was dry and hard too. Maybe it could be improved. Overall 7/10.

The hotel staff was quite helpful, and breakfast at Beranda Cafe was varied and delicious. They offered Indonesian, Western, and Japanese options. The room was very spacious, and I had a pretty good pool view. So far, my experience at Artotel Mangkuluhur has been very pleasant.

The rooms are spacious and reasonably priced. Facilities are a plus: big swimming pool, gym, padel courts, and a playground, making it family-friendly. It’s an older, large hotel, so some areas feel a bit dated and less modern. However, the cleanliness is excellent—everything is very well maintained.

The interior is a bit outdated, even after renovation. Check-in was requested for 14:00, but we only received the room key by 15:25. If it weren't for the Shisha cafe and BOCA, we would not have stayed here.
