Aston Inn is a well-known hotel in Jemursari, both in terms of physical facilities and service, it should be at the standard of a 3-star hotel. As a former hotel staff member, I was quite disappointed when I checked in. My wife and two children had traveled quite a long way. We arrived at the hotel around 1:00 PM, but were left in the lobby until almost 2:30 PM before being allowed into our room, claiming it wasn't ready yet and there was a long waiting list. Even though I had booked through the app well in advance, my little one cried in the lobby from exhaustion. My wife also said that one stay was enough, as we were indeed very tired at the time. I'm sorry, in my experience, checking in at any hotel as long as I made a reservation at 1:00 PM, the room was always vacant and ready to be occupied. Although the check-in rule is at 2:00 PM, that's where reservations come in. Because for a 3-star hotel standard housekeeping staff, I think 30 minutes is more than enough to make the bed/make the room. Another downside to this hotel is that the bathroom is quite smelly. Hopefully, this can serve as a lesson for Aston Inn, so that its reputation doesn't suffer because of trivial matters like this. Thank you.
