The pool was great to have ..bar and food service too . The room we had was very comfortable and had nice beds and space . Modern bathroom. Parking included with the room . We always pick Colonial every time we come to Grand Bend

This was our second time staying at the Colonial Hotel and it just keeps getting better. You can’t beat the location and with the addition of the outdoor pool and food/bar service the amenities are exceptional. Our suite was spectacular. Big, clean and comfortable. This won’t be our last stay here! We will be back…and probably sooner than later.

Room and hotel grounds were exceeded our expectations! We absolutely loved the two queen with a separate bedroom for our kids. Kids loved the heated pool and service poolside was great.

Everything about the room and amenities was fine. However, when we checked in, we got the impression from the staff, specifically the young lady that checked us in, that we were imposing. No welcome, no smiles and cryptic responses to our questions.

We've stayed 3 years and it's a nice place. The pool is a very nice addition from last year.

Staff were excellent. Pool and coffee in the lobby were great! Rooms could be cleaner - our bath tub had mold around the caulking.

2nd year coming to this hotel. Beautiful location. Clean rooms. Friendly front desk staff. Only downfall is you can hear everything above you if you’re on the main floor. There was a family of children above us running around all night. It was extremely loud. But the staff tried their best to ask them to quiet down. There was also multiple fights in the hallway between groups of young men who were too intoxicated. Got woken up 5+ times in 1 night. Not the hotel’s fault, though just a bad crowd. Would definitely return again next year!!!

I come here every summer with my friends and this year, we decided to stay at Colonial Hotel. We had the best experience here and will definitely be coming back.

The toiletries are too small but good parking is good, view is nice, staff are very polite. I would come back for sure.

The room was clean and quiet. There's an outdoor pool and lounging area with an outdoor bar for hot summer days. Parking is convenient.

I was very disappointed that I ended up in a room where the shower did not work. I was only overnight and returning home at dinner time so I managed. The front desk apologized but it was too late to do anything. AND no effort was made to make good with an unwashed guest!
