Lovely, staff was so very friendly and helpful, dinner was delicious, and it’s just a short walk away from the airport.

A very convenient location for island hopping!

Nice hotel by the airport. We got a free continental breakfast and airport drop-off, which were very convenient! The staff was very proactive and booked a taxi for us to get to the hotel and patiently answered all our questions. Recommend staying here in Dangriga!

Pelican Beach Resort in Dangriga, Belize is absolutely beautiful. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing!

I've stayed at Pelican twice. There's always an issue with the "free" continental breakfast. Last time, they charged separately for coffee, although it was brought to us by the server. This time, the breakfast was limited to three items (egg, toast, fruit...) but this wasn't explained up front and we unknowingly ordered several items. I love the property, but the confusion over "free" breakfast that is not free is annoying.

Great place to stay for a couple days, but my experience with a week made me realize I might like it better traveling around a bit more.

This is a quaint older hotel. Short walk from the Dangriga airport. Not all rooms have AC so be sure to request a room that has it. There is no pool or beach access from the property, very large rocks block the way.

The property location is nice and the ambience at the outdoor dining and the beach is great. The service in the restaurant is good. The rooms need some updating. The new added rooms to the old building are marketed as deluxe but there is nothing deluxe about the. They are basic rooms. I had stayed in the same room 2 years ago and I can see the difference on how the bed has aged and needs to be changed. I paid for a double bed room but I was given a standard room for the same price. The property has a lot of potential for improvement but it seems that management chose to just provide the basic. The price does not commensurate with the quality.

Room #8 was clean but it was noisy with the people coming out of the front doors, and sound coming through the windows. And speaking of windows, I have never ever seen a window in the door and two windows in a interior wall, not only noisy but it lights up the room it’s never dark just to much light coming in to be able to sleep well. Wait staff could use some training on being a little more attentive to their customers and not having to get up and ask for something. I would not stay there again.
