Close to station, clean and new place, friendly staff, close to convenient store and old town.

this was a lovely hotel 5 minutes from the bikan historic district and the train station. The room was lovely. The onsen was perfect after a day of travel.

To be fair, pros include wheelchair friendly and the location is excellent. Cons include security bleach and no shower cap. The bed sheet had blood stain. I took a nap as soon as I checked in without knowing that the door was not locked. When I called the front desk, the gentleman apologized saying he forgot to set the door lock after house keeper finished cleaning. They apparently have a master key and they can control door lock. I witnessed the front desk staff lock my room door. My husband is a security consultant and he said if they can lock the door using a master key, they certainly unlock your room. I know crime rate is rising even in Japan for inside job, including insurance company employees recently. So, just be aware when you make reservations.

One of the best hotels of my stay in Japan. Highly recommended with fantastic location a few minutes walk from Kurashiki Station and the historic quarter. Great amenities in the hotel, amazing breakfast and spotless rooms. Would love to come back.

I’ve been trying to stay here for the past year. My stay was better than other hotels in the area. Fairly new hotel, nice layout and a great breakfast. About a ten minutes walk from the train station and fifteen minutes to the historical district. Food is nearby with two convenience stores across the street.

This is an absolutely fantastic hotel. From start to end of my short stay, the service of the front desk staff was impeccable (very helpful and friendly), check-in/check-out were a breeze, the room was spotless and large (!!!) (and so was the bathroom), and it is super near the Kurashiki Bikan area. They even have an onsen, but I didn't use it during my trip. Also, the hotel is home to an excellent restaurant Kurashiki Shirakabe with delightful Japanese cuisine. I would give this hotel 10/10!! (I mistakenly scored the breakfast on this review even though I didn't get the breakfast package, but it's also served by the same restaurant mentioned above, so I have no doubt the food would be awesome too!)

Excellent breakfast with great variety of options. There is a multi-storey parking lot nearby, which is very convenient. The room is clean, spacious, and bright. A very satisfied stay with the hotel.

The hotel is near Kurashiki JR Station. Convenient. Clean, good service!

Incredible views and fantastic service

Place was clean and tidy. The place is s bit far away from the canals but its still a walkable distance. Not much to do in the area but i think thats more about kurashiki than the hotel. All in all, i would stay here again if i came back to kurashiki.

The room was a standard size and not so large, but the condition, cleanliness, and service was excellent. Close to the station nicely located too.

Rooms are a bit close together and a little cramped but the complete public bath and location make up for it!

Beautiful new hotel with modern design. It’s convenient to the station and it’s a short walk to the Bikan district. Everything was excellent, but I marked down one star on ‘comfort’ because the pillows are painfully hard. They are a hybrid Japanese pellet stuffing on one side and Western fiberfill on the other. Neither side was comfortable.

Spacious, modern style hotel with great views, good amenities, free coffee in the lobby. Top notch bathroom. Comfortable beds and pillows. Convenient location to historic Bikan era. I would stay here again!

The hotel is modern with a spare modern atmosphere. I prefer countryside, so it’s just my feeling. No complaints. It’s nice for business people. Good breakfast buffet.

I love this hotel, but the cleaning person didn’t clean well. The bathroom sink was not clean. Yellow water stains were left. There was also debris left on the floor of the room.
