Although expensive due to the concerts, the hotel itself is good.

Really expensive for the quality of stay we had. Poor soundproofing of other rooms, ridiculously noisy air con, uncomfortable / loud creaky beds, tv wasn’t working so had to move rooms, cleaner didn’t clean our room. Paid a lot of money so would expect better. Great for location, not much else.

The hotel was good the food and bar service excellent. The only negative I have is we went out at 10.00 and returned at 17.30 and the room hadn’t been serviced, just after we returned the cleaner knocked so we just asked for fresh towels and for her to refresh the coffee station.

We had a wonderful stay at the Moxy Fountainbridge. The staff were friendly and the room was very comfortable. The upstairs bar was pleasant and convenient.

Good hotel clean friendly staff nice breakfast and had taxi booking service, 15 - 20 minute walk to Princess Street so handy for main attractions only downside if your staying longer than 1 night there is no wardrobe or drawers only a small hanging section with some hangers but apart from that perfect

Was just one night and first time that I stayed at the Moxy in Edinburgh. Everything was good except one thing - the air conditioner in the room didn’t work - in fact it was warmer in the room than outside the room. This was very uncomfortable especially given the level of heat this weekend.

Great location and comfy beds. Walkable distance throughout the city and we were able to phone in ahead and secure an early check in.

Every member of staff we dealt with in the lobby and the lobby bar were wonderful. I want to be clear about that. But the quality and comfort of the rooms were not worth the price. The rooms were uncomfortably warm and the fan did nothing. Upcharges for breakfast that seemed unreasonable. Lastly we made a reservation for the rooftop bar and after being seated were ignored by staff for 25 minutes while other parties who ordered after us, including those who were visibly badly intoxicated, were served. We left without any sign that our order had even begun to be made and canceled. Staff apologized but didn’t seem to care. For the price of this stay I expected better comfort and better treatment at an advertised feature.

The wework of hotels, that’s not a compliment. No room phone meant everything the room cleaner forgot had to be fetched by me from reception, toilet roll, coffee, etc. bed was comfy, AC was a joke, they admitted it too.

Good location. Was a bit worried as other reviewers said rooms were small but they were not at all. Similar size to premier innn or travel lodge. Very friendly helpful staff, loved the ironing room (much better than usual crappy iron in bedroom) and rooftop bar was cool

The location is good for being in between Murrayfield and shopping area. Cleanliness is good and toiletries provided were nice. Shower pressure was poor. Rooms are too small. No storage for personal items. Its cheap small tables at bedside and a rail to hang clothes. Would be ok for one or two days but no more.
