At first I was taken aback by what I booked, I hadn't done any research on the area or the property. It's in a sort of remote village, there's a nearby supermarket. I recommend getting your own snacks and drinks before getting there as the walk to the market isn't mostly flat. The place is basically a farmhouse, super cozy and has a classic, simple vibe. The room was basic, comfortable bed, a desk, no AC (the area is somewhat cold), but a fan was provided. You get basic toiletries but the bathroom is shared, and it's clean enough. A super homely breakfast was served for a small fee. The hostess is a nice old lady who's super friendly, kind, and generous. She speaks Armenian and German, and we communicated thru Google Translate. She helped me book a taxi and talked to the driver on my behalf. Generally great conversation. I had a great time hanging out with her and her husband.
