It is difficult to find the entrance to the hotel and you are expected to park five minutes away and drag your bags up and down a hill which is not great if you have accessibility issues. The noise of the shower room ventilation was very intrusive. We did not sleep well - the pillows were enormous and we were woken up by carousing students several times. Would not stay again.

Friendly reception staff, quick easy check in. Single en suite room suited my needs for attending a gig at the LCR 2 mins walk away. Shared kitchen with each room having a cupboard and fridge space allocated. Complimentary tea & coffee in the kitchen. Easy to get to by public transport. I took the train to Norwich and got the number 25 bus to the university (hotel is 3 mins walk from the stop) and back the next day to the station.

Stayed for one night in Feb for a gig at the LCR. Booked a single room..number 75. Check in was easy. Receptionist was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Have to get through an electronic door and then one you open with your room key, so it felt very secure. I found all areas spotless. Room was bigger than I was expecting, with a nice sized bathroom. Was supplied with 3 towels. Bed was clean and squishy with two comfortable pillows. It was heated nicely. The bathroom IS a wet room, but this wasn't an issue. Shower had lots of very hot water. Room cost just under £70, which I found to be very reasonable. Would definitely stay again. Bought a breakfast voucher for the Sportspark full English for £13. It was well cooked and huge.

There was pretty bad noise throughout the night as the Hotel chooses to rent out student rooms next to the Main Area for hotel guests. This does not work.

Lovely staff on check in / out This is our 2nd stay, room clean as always. Had a few issues with noise on either side of room, the other room we had seemed to have better sound proofing, as both sides were shouting , talking gone 11:30pm, thankfully calmed down, but this particular room the walls seemed paper thin. There is a notice saying if after midnight, to call security, might be an idea to make that time earlier? Overall a great location for visiting our Son, hopefully next time it will be a lot quieter, ir we fet a better sound proofing room?

I had a great stay! As always the room is lovely and clean with comfortable bedding and towels. The staff are amazing, Tina and the team always look after me so well.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable and cosy. No coffee or tea was available in the room despite the photos. I was warmly welcomed by reception but disappointed that photos did not show how basic the room but it was was warm. In the morning I mentioned the lack of tea or coffee and was offered some by Tina, an amazingly lovely lady. I chose chocolate and paid. She and I chatted for some time about loss and dealing with it. I will not be staying again though I would like to meet her again. It was supposed to be a respite break from driving almost daily to see my very ill husband in hospital. It is a place for the young and adventurous. I'm sorry that I am no longer either. My wrong choice at a bad time. My thanks to Tina for supporting me at a difficult time.

Once I got the right car park it was fairly easy to find the hotel, as I arrived late I hate to collect the key from security which wasn’t any problem, the room was basic but adequate for my stay, the free wifi was handy, I didn’t have breakfast

Great place to stay if you have a child at the Uni. Like being a student all over again (but with your own little en-suite bathroom).

This is my second stay, booked a double this time with tea making facility’s, very good, nice clean room, towels. Room was warm. Looking forward to more stays.

Room was great

Arrived relatively later on in the day, and reception was closed, but it was not an issue as I picked up my key from the security office, which is not far from the hotel at all, and they were very helpful and quick to give me the room key and swipe card for the building. Parking was also very easy as you just park in the main UEA car park then use the terminal next to the lift to validate your registration for free parking. Room was immaculate and had great amenities, full tea and coffee station, large TV, lots of storage space, good size fridge, and the beds were very comfortable. Only downside was the shower temperature was quite difficult to get, as the handle was very sensitive, so you had to carefully adjust the handle otherwise it would be really cold or really hot. Other than that everything was perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful, and checked us out very quickly on the departure day.

It was very loud and this impacted my sleep, not just from students outside but internally. Loud slamming fire doors, noisy pipers and systems. I have stayed during a teaching block for a professional doctorate and this experience impacted my ability to engage during the day. Staff at reception were very pleasant but I don’t think the “hotel” is worth the price.

Hotel is on the UEA campus. There is a shop to buy food if need be. You can use the bar if needed. Very clean and comfortable.. Quiet as well.

Ideal location to visit Son at Uni, easy parking, location for bus stop into Norwich, staff really lovely and helpfull. Facilities in room was good, tea coffee and biscuits with kettle, and small fridge in the room. Slight issue with drain smell in the bathroom, possible sink water trap, running this for a while helped though, unfortunately we were woken to the fire alarm going off at 2am, due to students who live below the hotel, security officer came and checked, no other personnel at the time, not sure how it is recorded who is in the building and who is not? Thankfully this was not a fire, but aerosol deodrant issue. Overall great that they offer hotel accommodation on campus and at a reasonable price, served the purpose for what we needed the room for. We would use again as a good option.
