Very nice people and quality of care

Very nice

We got a suite and was surprised that we had 2 TVs in the room. Everyone was nice and the breakfast was delicious.

Almost perfect experience. Spacious room. Pleasant and efficient staff. Comfortable pilliws and bed. Nice little bar. Good quiet location not far from beautiful old central Bardstown and bourbon distilleries. Good hot breakfast (better on weekend). Well appointed rooms and bathroom. No place to hang uo towels but they were replaced daily. No elevator but only 2 floors.

It was nice. Staff goes above and beyond. Breakfast was included: hot items could’ve been hotter, great fruit salad, DIY coffee machine. Clean and safe.

We felt so welcomed by Michelle at the Distil Inn! We came for the Derby and to celebrate our Anniversary.

Friendly staff, well located, fun game options in the rec room and at the bar. Great stay for a Derby or Bourbon Trail visit.

This was a pleasant surprise! We typically stay in an AirBnB when we go to Bardstown, but opted to try a hotel on short notice. I found the Distill-Inn and thought it looked to be a very nice renovation of an older hotel. That is exactly what it was, and then some. Everything was renovated to give it a bourbon-esque feel. The bar had an excellent selection of bourbons, and Fernando (he was great!) even suggested a gin cocktail for my wife which was great. The indoor pool has been removed and replaced with an indoor pickleball court but they also had cornhole and some other games there. This was a genius move because it is right off the lobby and bar and we weren't subjected to that chlorine smell and slick floors that come with a pool. The continental breakfast was pretty good, perfect for a quick bite before hitting the distillery tours. On Friday night we even decided to walk to dinner at the Rickhouse, it's only 1.5 miles. However, realize getting a ride back may take awhile with no Uber presence and only a couple cabs around. As for the room, very wel done although I would say that the pillows were pretty flat and uncomfortable but we are picky. We drove and should have just brought our pillows which we have decided to always do now. Overall though, we would definitely stay here again. If you are choosing a hotel, this one is a much better choice that similarly priced chain hotels in the area.

The property is well kept and the staff is very friendly. We found the breakfast to be very nice. We stayed at this location twice and would go back again!

Highly recommend this hotel. The front desk staff are so friendly and accommodating. This was our second stay at the Distill and would return if we ever make it back to Bardstown. The facilities are very clean and we had no issues with our room. There is a bar for guest to hang out until 10 and an activity room with cornhole and a small pickle ball court. Thank you to the staff at the Distill Inn!!

First thing to know is this hotel does NOT have an elevator. If you are older, have children or lots of luggage this could be a problem. You are on your own with getting the luggage upstairs. The hotel is located in a very industrial area. There is a small parking lot in the front with more parking in the back but it’s very difficult to get in and out of the larger one. This was an older Comfort Inn that was rehabbed. The outside looked nice, the inside was decorated nicely. The front desk people were a bit sarcastic and didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. There is NOT a pool, it was filled in and a pickle ball court is now there. The bar is next to the lobby and is nice. The barman was very nice and knowledgeable. The rooms are nothing to write home about. No carpet on the floors so noise carries. There is not a closet to store your suitcases out of the way. They do have a very small metal clothes stand with a few hangers. Where the closet was is a larger refrigerator was nice and a small microwave. The walls are thin and need better sound proofing. The bathroom was nice. The shower had good water pressure. The shower surround had not been cleaned in awhile. The toilet seat was loose and the sink was slow moving. This hotel does not represent The Distill-Inn brand by any means. I would not recommend to stay in this hotel.

Very clean, friendly service!

Very nice and clean. Personnel were very friendly and professional. Nice included breakfast. Would just mention that there is no elevator so you need to be able to walk stairs if book here.

The staff and facility was awesome. The breakfast was good. We would definitely stay there again and will recommend to our family and friends.
