I missed checking in because I did not catch the shinkansen. Nevertheless, when I called to try to cancel, the lady at the other end of the line was extremely helpful and did her best to provide the best service. Although cancellation was not possible because it was done through Expedia (who by the way was not responsive at all), they offered to accommodate us the next morning to eat breakfast and stay in the room until checkout time st 11AM.

We had a room overlooking the river - keep time to walk along the river and enjoy the autumn leaves …

Close to Morioka Station. Short walk to the bridge and area on the other side of the bridge.

The building is visible from the Morioka Station. It would be better if the name of the building is written in English in addition to the current Japanese katakana characters.

Great location, just 5 minutes from the JR station. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

Lovely place to stay. Really enjoyed this property. Remember to just book the 4 bed room. It’s worth it and so much more comfortable

Daiwa hotel chain is very reliable and consistent. The queen bed room is tiny. Better to opt for the two twin beds and push them together.

This hotel was right by the train station with a 7 eleven accessible from its lobby. It was so clean and comfortable- one of my favorite stays this trip - maybe because I got the best night’s sleep there

Hotel located close to the train station and most of the car rentals. It is easy to find food and theres a lot of convenient store around. Bed is comfortable. We stayed 2 nights.

Off all the chain hotels we stayed in in Japan, this is our favorite, so much so that we plan to look for Daiwa hotels now when we book for future trips. Nice big lobby, bilingual staff, easy check in/out with automation, nice rooms, modern and larger bathroom. Everything seemed upgrade level. Definitely enjoyed staying there and it was near the station with lots of eateries to choose from.

The staff was extremely helpful and professional, and nice facilities with clean rooms and bathrooms. There is a convenience store on the first/ground floor of the building. Would stay there again!
