Very cute cottage with fireplace and 2 recliners! About 5 minutes from Fort Davis and Davis Mountains State Park so if you don't want to camp, this is a great place to stay.

Mattress was too soft definitely needs replacement. As do linen, and towels.

Loved the individual cabins strong the courtyard! Checking in and it was easy as could be. We also really enjoyed the tasting room right next door—ambiance was super cute and both the drinks and food were delicious!

The cottage is clean, the beds were very comfortable and we loved how they were decorated. Our two pets enjoyed their stay as well. The town is really cute too. We only stayed one night traveling through Texas but we’d stay here again. Communication was excellent!

Best place to stay in fort Davis!

Very well maintained and comfortable

The room was adorable and the hosts responded to messages super quickly - even late at night! The town didn’t have much for us to explore and was further off the highway than expected, but the cottage and hosts made up for that. I particularly loved the fireplace in the room and the extra comfy bed!

Great overnight option in Fort Davis. Spotlessly clean, quiet and easy parking right outside. Loved the open fire in the room, after a chilly night up at the McDonald Observatory. No breakfast options around. Most places either closed down or shut on a Tuesday. Coffee shop opposite served coffee only....no food so come prepared!

The cottage was perfect for our stay. It was comfortable and very cute. Location was convenient if you plan to go to the observatory.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and clean. The baths were clean and well supplied. The kitchen was adequately equipped and clean. We would stay there again if the occasion arose.

The most filthy hotel room I’ve ever rented. Carpet was filthy with dead bugs. Pubic hair in bathroom, pee stains on carpet. Brown stain on bedroom door, I told my kids keep shoes on. I would have just left but it was too late and we were too tired. Oh and room was hot. Always over 80 degrees. AC kept turning off. When it’s over 100 degrees outside they shouldn’t shut it off. I checked for bed bugs, sheets were the only thing that looked clean so we slept and left first thing in the morning.

The cottages were so nice and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The cottages were close to everything.

Fun little set of cottages. Quaint area. Clean rooms. Liked the new taproom at the check-in area. Good air conditioning in summer. Friendly host.

Nicely decorated, comfortable, clean cottages! Friendly staff, good communications. And the owners just opened a taproom next door that opens at 4:00pm

Love Butterfield Inn. Great location & comfortable cottages. Will return.
