Very nice hotel which is next to a small harbor. Very good walking area close to downtown. Just down the canal is a renovation industrial area with restaurants and shopping. Stairs to upper floor are winding and narrow which is a bit hard with luggage.

The hotel is next to a small harbor, close to downtown area and near an old industrial area that has been renovated into shopping and restaurants. Hotel needs to adjust their hotel doors as they can be quite loud at times when people close them.

Great stay for four nights at this lovely boutique hotel. Room was beautiful, with a comfy King-Sized bed! Staff were super friendly, and breakfast was great.

Overall it was excellant. The fresh cooked eggs or omlets at breafast was a considerable surprise. the only small downer was the very loud party/reception that went on in the bar which was very audable from rooms 1 & 2. RW

Hotel The Yard is a lovely boutique hotel with only 8 rooms available. Consequently, you get a very personal welcome upon your arrival. My room on the ground floor had a lovely high ceiling, classic yet modern decor, blackout curtains, net curtains (which I checked gave good privacy during the day), as well as the usual mod cons. The wifi worked without any complicated codes. The location is very good, overlooking the canal and a short walk from the town centre on one side and the business pros on the other. There is a big food hall on the other side of the canal, which offers a variety of funky bars and restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was good value for money and included fresh fruit, fresh croissants and hot food cooked to order. Highly recommended!

Hotel was charming and everything was well thought out. The decor was elegant and inviting at the same time. Service was outstanding. The owner and her staff couldn’t have been nicer. Excellent location, walking distance (5 mins) to the town center. I would definitely stay here again.

De kamer was heel mooi, proper. Het ontbijt was super en de bediening was zeer vriendelijk. Een aanrader!

Ontbijt was prima geregeld. Personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Schone kamer. Wel wat gehorig, maar dat is niet vreemd voor het pand waar ze in zitten. Locatie is top! Dichtbij het centrum en de bioscoop/theater/food market.
